Bodywork Denver - Therapeutic Massage

I had some of the worst neck pain I’ve ever experienced, and having never gotten a massage before, I chose Bodywork Denver based on the amazing recommendations I’d heard. The massage room itself was incredibly comfortable and had a luxurious feel, which immediately helped me relax. Dave quickly pinpointed the source of my pain and used targeted stretches and massage techniques to address it. By the end of just one session, the pain was completely gone. He also took the time to show me specific stretch routines to help prevent it from coming back. I’m extremely impressed with Dave’s skill and professionalism, he really knows his stuff! I have had ongoing (a couple months) issues with numbness in my hands from mountain biking. Dave was able to methodically work through the possible sources of the numbness and used his extensive knowledge of anatomy and therapeutic technique to help alleviate the issue. He also recommended strength training techniques to prevent it in the future. The next morning I noticed a significant reduction of tingling numbness in my hands and fingers that I would normally have from sleeping on my sides. He is a kind, knowledgeable professional and I will happily use his services again.

I went in to visit Dave to have him help me address some pain in my lower back (sacroiliac joint). From the moment I got there, it was a very calm and relaxing environment, and he immediately put together a personalized stretching and massage routine that gave some much-needed relief. I was actually surprised, because this pain was so stubborn, but he seemed to know exactly the right buttons to press, and I could tell he's quite knowledgeable about anatomy and physiology. He gave me some good pointers about the kinds of stretches I can do in the future to mitigate the pain while my body recovers, which really has worked well. Overall, I can't say enough about Dave and what a professional he is. He's also just a really personable guy, and I would absolutely go back in the future.

Dave was fantastic helping with a shoulder injury I’d been suffering from a week before seeing him. After my session I had a fuller range of motion and the pain went away. Can’t recommend him enough!

Dave is a fantastic masseuse. I went in, never being at a massage therapist before, and described some general desires in terms of pain relief in my lower back and shoulders. He took the time to evaluate me, and made some suggestions on how to better my posture, as I learned that I generally roll my shoulders forward without knowing it. After a 120 minute massage session, I never felt more relaxed and pain free before. If you want to find a massage therapist that will take the time to understand your body and know how to realign everything, Dave is fantastic! The space is extremely calming, and the ability to select your own music is a bonus! Very clean, and very comfortable!

Thai massage has brought about a huge transformation in my life on many different levels, and Dave has been the primary facilitator in that. He has been able to help guide me in working to improve my overall bodily balance, as well as work to help me diagnose recurring issues caused by the daily goings of life. He has been incredibly empathetic to my needs, and has shown utmost professionalism with his practice. I'd highly recommend seeing him for his Thai massage practice in particular, as he is receiving training from a world class Thai massage teacher that I've had the immense pleasure of working with as well. I'm genuinely excited to see what is to come for Dave, and I really hope that more people get to experience the holistic healing that comes from a well choreographed Thai massage.
