Massage Envy

Love my monthly massage! Great practitioners, friendly desk staff. Front desk could be a bit more professional (often private chat amongst the staff), but I’m sure their job is tedious. Waiting room ‘chairs’ are just stools and they are terribly uncomfortable.

Warning- False price advertising!! I went to book a 90 minute regular massage and it said the price was $135. I went to check out after the massage and it was $225, almost a $100 upcharge. I asked why and the ladies at the front desk could not give me a clear answer. They said that the website doesn’t show the "real rates" of the massage and that in the future to see the actual price of the massage that I will be charged I must call them and ask, because only the front desk can tell. This is false advertising in my opinion. If I am logged into my account the check out price that I book the appointment with, should be the price that I am charged, not magically $100 more.

I have had some great massages at Massage Envy - Edgewater!! Therapists are thorough and professional. The only difficulty is scheduling, you have to make appointments 4-5 weeks out or there is nothing available

I am happy with my massage therapist, Fiona, I have been working with her for almost two years and have followed her around to several ME locations. She is attentive to my requests and checks on pressure or areas of focus.

Came here for a massage a couple weeks ago as i had a gift card from my work. My therapist was Bethany; she was great. Would definitely recommend this location to anyone who needs a good massage.

Nice location and some great massage therapists. Only thing that isn’t great is it takes so long to get on the schedule. There just are not enough massage therapists here. Feels like there are twice as many rooms than staff.

This business is managed poorly. This has been my experience at multiple locations, including this one. 1- they don’t remind you or send a receipt when they charge you for a monthly membership. You just accrue credits whether or not you know about them. 2- they have no prenatal care virtually whatsoever. I lost $450 in credits because I was unable to find a prenatal massage at multiple locations (over months and months, I might add) and unfortunately my credits expired. 3- they cancel on you even if you’ve had an appt booked for weeks (such was the case with the one Jan prenatal massage I was able to book back in December). A few days before they just canceled on me, and my credits expired the following day. Despite multiple emails and phone calls, I was unable to get them extended. Do not recommend and will never go back.
