Thunderbird Lounge

We went on a Sunday night when a live band was playing. The drinks were excellent, the atmosphere was very comfortable and relaxed. This is my new favorite place to have a drink and listen to music. The band, The Smashing Cranberries, was so fun, too! They played 90s music better than the originals. I'll definitely be back!

Great local neighborhood bar with a fun, laid-back vibe. Came on a Wednesday for movie night—tickets were just 77 cents and included popcorn. The movie played on the back patio with misters running, which made for a cozy setup. Loved the mix of games both inside and outside. My friend enjoyed the prickly pear on tap, and I had a Diet Coke (I'm sober). Fun spot for a chill night out! Happy hour deals every day. Definitely check them out!

I’ve been coming back here in the last few months, after the canceling. I’ve tried to be cool and kind to the bartenders, but they don’t seem to care. The prices are very high for the lack of people. They also have very inconsistent hours. Tonight, Thursday, the bartender told us at they would be closing at 12pm, it was 11:45. With no warning. I then said online it said they were open until 2, they said the owner said to close early. When I initially came to the bar both bartenders were on their phones and tried to scream at me what I wanted to drink from the other end of the bar with phones in hand with no customers in sight. I have also come in numerous times asking for the Jell-O shots, that they offer and never have. One time the bartender said it was the "am bartenders job" however there were no customers there. I can’t assume it would be that big of a lift to make them in all your down time or just take them off the menu. I’ve tried to give this bar a fighting chance again and again but the service is horrible, the hours are inconsistent and so are the specials.

Went to Thunderbird Lounge last night for the first time with friends to see a fantastic 90s cover band The Smashing Cranberries. The bar and the band were fantastic! Dance floor was full but everyone was cool and the vibe was awesome! My group had the best time sipping my delicious "summer breeze" drink and dancing with friends to the sounds of my high school days. When that band returns I’ll definitely be back for a repeat! So so fun!

Been here on Saturday nights 2 female bartenders .. they were pretty rude and looked like they hated being there. dozing off , being on their phones . Not the most attentive at all. atmosphere is pretty cool plenty of space to hang out with your friends outside and dance to the music or chill inside play some arcades for a bit. cant say much for the food since they switch up regularly with local vendors. id give this place more stars if the service was better , . . definitely something to consider changing over there

Drinks were tasty and the bar tenders are good. Went to a goth night event, the DJ was really good and a decent amount of goth folk to dance with and have fun.

Super rad spot with a chill vibe. As you walk in you get greeted by some old school punk playing over the speakers. The décor is straight outta the 70’s who ever designed the bar had a vision and they nailed it. They also have a good amount of free classic arcade games. We ordered a few drinks and they were delicious the bartender was on point and polite. Overall a great spot. Wish we had more time to spend there but we had dinner reservations. Definitely will be back next time we are in the Phoenix area.
