The haircut is terrible. A terrible fade, had me looking away from the mirror the whole time and very poor cleaning conditions, hair everywhere.

I had a chance to come in with my son who received what I thought to be a pretty decent hair cut. Tonight at dinner, after learning the commotion happening inside the local restaurant I was having dinner at was actually involving the owner of man spa who was confronting an ex girlfriend there while accompanying another woman, I will not be returning back here. What a disgrace dude.

We couldn’t have had a better first haircut experience for our little dudes! Cole and Simone are some the most welcoming and patient people around and on top of that they are clearly highly skilled barbers that provide a top notch service. We are so thankful we found this business while up visiting from Seward and will happily make the drive up for haircuts. We look forward to seeing them in the future and giving them our continued business.

First time customer, booked for my birthday only to have them cancel my appointment two days before. They have yet to call back to reschedule or to refund the gift card that my wife got me for my birthday or anything. I am incredibly disappointing in a place that calls itself the "Man" spa yet no one is "Man" enough to call back.

Cole is not only a very gifted barber, he's also a creative genius. It's worth going there just to see his clothing line and designs.

Unfortunately, I was extremely disappointed. I have no problem paying $200 for 3 cuts if it's proper. I booked my boyfriend and 2 sons 1 works (hair, brows & beard)$90 & 2 classic cuts, $50ea. With picture examples of what they wanted, they were nothing like the photos. My BF hair is so finger hight and the beard was brought to a 6. When his photo was The Duke from Dune and had the hair and beard to accomplish, no brow service was provided and was given an apprentice when I booked specifically the owner. My 14 yearold had shoulder-length hair and asked for a trim with layers. It's above his ears and has some parts with chin length at the bang. My 17 year old wanted layers and his undercut redone and was ready for senior photos. He was given an undercut shave, and that's it. They were behind and rushed it. It's very disappointing that the amazing experience I wanted to gift to my guys has been the talk of how much they hate their hair, and 2 want to "just shave it off." As someone who owned a barber shop and was a stylist who wanted to give them an experience, I will have to go back to cutting their hair. Apprentices shouldn't be charged the same as the master. 1st photo is what he asked for! This is $50?

I went to the Man Spa with high expectations, I left with a terrible hair cut and hardly any of my beard. I asked for the classis cut and beard trim which was advertised for $65. I told the barber I wanted a #2 guard over my head and to leave the length on my beard, just take off the stray hairs. He ran the #2 like I asked for then without saying anything, he removed it and put on a #1. The next thing I know my head is almost bald. Then he trims around my ears and cut the hair a half inch above my ears to the scalp. He had me facing away from the mirror so I hadn't seen my head yet, he then moves to my beard. He starts trimming and when he was done, my beard is so thin on the sides , you can see through it. The left side does not match the right side and he squared the bottom middle part. When he turned me around, I was shocked to see myself. Then when I went to pay he rang it up for $75. I didn't say anything but I was upset at the haircut and then the price was higher. I paid with a 100 and he didn't have $25 in the till to give me my change. I had to wait an extra 15 minutes while he had a lady go to the bank and get cash for the 100. This was the worst experience I have ever had and the Man Spa in Anchorage is not a place I would ever recommend. Definitely a 1 star service.
