Aaron Shay Massage Therapy

A year ago I Googled "massage therapist near me" and that is how I found Aaron!! He initially helped with some acute upper back pain. I have been so pleased ever since and see him regularly for maintenance. He is very kind, considerate, compassionate and, most of all, an excellent massage therapist. He is definitely part of my self-care routine and deserves 5 gold stars. I highly recommend him!!!

Aaron provided a very comfortable environment for the massage and you could really feel his enthusiasm and care throughout the session. Will be returning.

Sorta disappointed by the reviews. I was thinking this would be a much better experience but was sadly mistaken. Made a same day appointment because I slept weird and woke up with neck pain. I left with the same neck pain. The exchange wasn't very conversational. I was told to let him know if I would like him to change anything during the massage. When I asked for more pressure he momentarily obliged but then when a muscle twitched in response he said it was probably because of the pressure and that in his twenty years of experience that was probably what it was. I sorta felt dismissed routinely throughout the visit. And he kept saying I'm not trying to be preachy but then was preachy. I asked at the beginning about his sliding scale and asked if 75 dollars was fine for a price just to have a dollar amount for agreed upon services. He said "the prices are on the worksheet right there. Which was confusing. He didn't charge me for the massage. Normally I would feel really gracious but the exchange plus being ushered out quickly made me feel anything but. I can't put my finger on it but the exchange felt unwelcoming and I didn't feel really listened to or heard. Overall the technique/massage itself was fine enough. The biggest issue is that I said at the onset that it was my neck that was hurting and I don't feel like the pain was actually addressed.

Aaron is a world-class massage therapist that provides quick pain relief and relaxation with his knowledge of massage techniques and broad understanding of muscles, fascia, and tension. Work with him before going anywhere else!

Arron graduated from a well accredited massage school and it shows. He listens to you and knows how to give pain relief through massage and also great massage therapist for relaxation. He is professional and friendly. I would recommend him.
