Uptown Barber Bar

Great Experience for our 2 year old! Justine was great with him and made him feel at ease immediately. He never lets anyone use clippers on his head and he didn't even flinch when Justine started using them. We will definitely continue coming back for his future haircuts!

Overall just disappointed. I’ve been coming here since it’s the highest rated in the area, but the last 3 cuts here have been pretty mediocre. They feel rushed and end up being poorly blended with no real attention to detail. I got my hair cut yesterday. Like come on. This is my last time coming here.

I used to come here every month years ago and enjoyed my experience. It’s been a while since I’ve been back and won’t be back again after I was mislead into paying $30 plus tip for a basic 10 minute beard trim. Website states $15 but when I checked out, the stylist asked me to wait before paying and changed the price from the booked fee of $15 to $30 saying that was only the price if I added it to a haircut. No mention of anything like that during the service nor does it say that on the website when I reserved my time with my CC. It’s shown as a completely separate service. I was the only other person in the building besides another barber and customer and I waited over 10 minutes for her to come out of the back to even greet me. Then she went back to the back again for a few minutes before finally saying she was ready. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place.

Pretty disappointed in my experience. I went in for their Signature Cut (which I believe should’ve included a hair wash, hot towel, neck shave). The haircut portion only took a little less than 15 minutes, so when she said if I liked it, I said yes, assuming that’s when I’d get the additional services. She then proceed to say ‘great, let’s go ahead and get you checked out then’. To her credit, she did reduce the price to just a haircut, but I felt rushed out of the appointment and didn’t receive the additional services I was expecting.

I went to uptown and saw Amber, she hooked me up with a nice beard trim and teeth whitening! I really enjoyed her pleasant professional attitude. She really cares about what she does and it shows! I'm bringing my son in Saturday to get his hair done as well!!! Thank you so much!!! 😎😎😎

I was a walk-in today and glad I did! Spencer is awesome! Gave me an excellent cut. He took his time and asked great questions and my hair looks amazing!! Go see Spencer! I am newer to St Pete and been looking for a barber shop. I highly recommend getting a haircut here! It’s gorgeous inside and staff are wonderful!

Wow! Just amazing. I stopped by after work hoping for a walk-in opening. I was in luck! Pam just finished with a customer and gladly offered to cut my hair. I was impressed with the cut, hot towel and her attention to detail. Every base was covered. Awesome cut! Uptown Barber is nicely decorated and clean throughout. I was offered a beverage while I waited and when I was leaving. Everyone I encountered was friendly. As a dad, I was happy to see a couple of kids getting cuts. I will be back and already passed my recommendation to my friends. Thanks Pam!!
