Lunch birthday date with hubs. His first time there and he enjoyed it. Friendly attentive service. We ordered: Veggie empanadas $17: 3/5 it was better the first time I had it. This time the puff pastry tasted like the frozen ones I buy from the supermarket. Inside filling tasted like the Persian grape leaf wraps. Fish tostada $32: 5/5 super flavorful, all the spice! I liked the corn tostada too. Excellent! Avocado dip $17: 3/5 I thought this was going to be some sort of avocado melted queso dip. Nope it's just a creamy avocado dip with thinly sliced fried plantains. Beef skewer chicory salad$39: 5/5 beef was tender and good. Salad was very tasty too. Chocolate semifreddo: complimentary bday dessert was rich and yummy. My fav was the whipped lemon on top.

We recently celebrated our anniversary dinner at Valley Goat. It was our first time, and our server Francine really elevated our whole experience. Francine was personable, attentive, and gave us amazing recommendations as it was our first time at the restaurant. Francine even recommended the order for our food to come out, and gave us the option of holding off on putting a few items in to see if we still had room. We definitely didn't have room, but we put in the rest of the items anyway because everything was so good we just wanted to get a taste of it all!!! Highlights for us were the spicy hand roll dip, goat empanadas, and disco fries. At the end of the meal, we decided to go for the chocolate passion fruit semifreddo and it did not disappoint. Francine was kind enough to add in a scoop of vanilla ice cream, and it was a must paired with the decadent brownies that accompanied the semifreddo. We truly loved all of the 8 dishes we tried, you really can't go wrong with any of the options here. Thank you to Francine and everyone at the Valley Goat for such a delicious experience!!! We will be back

Oh my god! We need this in the Bay!!!! Came here for dinner and loved the vibe - lively, modern, and great for sharing plates. We ordered a few veg starters and everything was well done. The eggplant was flavorful and the goat milk bread was warm, soft, and addictive. Perfect spot for celebrations with family and friends. Would come back to try more.

I have been to Valley Goat 3 times. Is it perfect? No… but my wife and I still feel like it’s worthy of a 5/5. There are some solid dishes and drinks from top to bottom. The price point is better than some tasting menu but it’s not cheap. The parking used to be a pain but not there’s free valet. The atmosphere inside and out is pretty solid within the grounds but it is still a funky location. I need to try the brunch but overall I like this place and it’s nice to see this chef with a restaurant so close by.

The food, tapas style, was generally good. The goat empanadas starter and the shrimp salad were probably better than the Yucatán pork belly & tomato, which was not bad but I feel was not very memorable — pondering for a few moments, I think the Yucatán pork belly & tomato could use a little extra kick. Yea, I think the first two plates had their own unique flavors, and so were memorable. Finally, the spiced apple pancake was good — I usually don’t have pancakes but that was not too sweet, and so I ended up finishing my half. In case someone wanna get the pork shank, it is not on the lunch menu — only the dinner menu has it (as of Jan 2026). Service and atmosphere and vibe were all very good. There was hand lotion in the restroom, which was nice. Overall 4 ⭐️ seems fair. I think if the food can be a tad elevated, it would bring my rating close to 5 ⭐️ Btw this restaurant is part of the treehouse hotel.

We were really looking forward to our visit. The restaurant had great reviews. It is physically inside the Tea House Hotel. The restaurant has that cool trendy vibe witha great atmosphere. The service was polite and efficient but very rushed. It feels like you're just being processed through the assembly line. I can't really blame them the place was busy and it was a Tuesday night. The food was good but not great. The chief is trying to create innovative dishes however just doesn't hit the mix. The Branzion was a little dry and had a Thai inspired sweet and sour sauce which absolutely over powered the taste of the fish. For Branzion less is more. The braised short ribs were ok but lacked fall of the bone tender quality you expect when paying a premium price. With the rest of the items we ordered we had the same opinion good but not quite the 5 stars we were hoping for.

I recently moved from Chicago and the food scene there was the best. Finding this gem in the Bay Area was incredible. Everything was delicious. The server was so helpful in explaining all of her favorite dishes to us! We went to celebrate a holiday dinner and the only thing that would have made it top notch was holiday music instead of Tupac (but that’s a personal preference haha). Highly recommend and I’d definitely come back here again.
