Astoria Bookshop

Cute little local bookshop! Their collection is small but curated. They also have cute book merch like tote bags and bookmarks. They also have a cute trolley cart with free books! I thought that was so nice and gave back to the community. Shop locally here for all your book needs!

I’ve been ordering online through Astoria since November 2025 and they have been such a great indie bookstore to shop from. Some books were sent a bit earlier than release date and I’ve been super happy to receive books from them. Highly recommend!

Small, adorable bookstore. There is a little open area in the back where you can sit outside. The staff was kind. My book was readily available and I was very giddy! There is a coffee shop nearby and some nice restaurants too! I got a free cute bookmark and some candy on the way out.

It's a cute little book store that probably has a lot of neighborhood fans. It's not worth a special trip to, but if I lived in the area I could see going here a couple of times a month.

Their selection is impressive, offering a wide range of books, from bestsellers to rare finds, across various genres. The staff is knowledgeable and always ready to recommend great reads based on your interests. There is an excellent selection of books for all ages.

I truly enjoy bookstores as such this one. It’s unique in its own way, and pulls you in for a long stay. Everyone is friendly, there’s books for everyone. I will certainly return whenever in the area.

I went in with a recommendation request for my 99 yo grandmother who loves to read. I gave them some general parameters (mostly vibes) and they commended the Louise Penny series. I recently got their below text from my grandmother, which demonstrates the knowledge of the staff and quality of the rec. Sarah, I am having the best possible day. I am not dressed yet, have soft jazz playing, and am reading Louise Penny's "The Brutal Telling". This is true contentment. Thank you. 💜💜💜 Great neighborhood bookshop with knowledge staff!
