Black Diamond Games

I decided to just go for a drive just to enjoy a drive and honestly I wound up forgetting I was about to hit the bridge and wound up paying the toll to hit Benicia. Didn't wanna waste my toll and not visit a fun spot, so I googled MTG near me and wound up at Black Diamond Games. OMG I am so so happy that fate steered me in their direction for a few reasons. First of all, the store is pretty big with a large gaming area. Second of all, they have a huge variety of games and other hobby items. Third of all, there are quite a few fun items (plushies, dice sets, blind boxes, etc). Finally, the 2 people working today were incredibly kind to this elder weeb/nerd and very new MTG player. Got a few packs to rip, a blind box, and some card dividers for my newest storage box. I also got to have a fun lil convo as well with people who honestly kind of understood me, which is always a bonus! Honestly, I wish I was a lil closer because I'd definitely stop by on a game night sometime. Oh! LGBTQIA+ friendly also! Support your local game shops y'all!

Although it was brief, I enjoyed my time at Black Diamond Games. I was recently at Concord to pick up board games for a game night, and this store is situated in a nice area. This place is very spacious and the upper floor looked really cool! The selection was fairly decent with even some TCG options at the register area. If I'm in the area again, I'll definitely be visiting this place again!

Great selection of card games, board games, and fantasy role-playing! Tons of Warhammer figurines and paints. Magic the Gathering boosters and Commander decks. Awesome mix of board games for kids and childish adults like me.

This place is really neat. They have pretty much any popular board game, tabletop game, and card game you can think of, painted and unpainted minis, and they’ll order anything they don’t have if you want without ripping you off. They don’t have too much in terms of merch but that’s probably good as it means the focus is more on the games. I got evolution and it’s expansion, a Harry Potter charm necklace for my wife, and my friend got magic the gathering booster packs. Their website also has a calendar for when they have live game nights though the night we went was their off day. The best thing by far though, is that the place is really clean and doesn’t smell like body odor (unlike similar places I’ve been to elsewhere).

I had been wanting to stop by this place for a while and finally made it out to Concord and had a great first time at Black Diamond today. The staff was friendly and helpful and games+ easy to find. The event space is huge and really well-maintained.

Hands down the best store in Concord and I love this store. This store has everything you need from d&d, Warhammer, games and even to magic the gathering and Pokémon card. I highly recommend coming here

Really nice place! The shop has everything - board games, cards, and some space and company to play. Dropped in with my son - he was so excited! Just started learning about Magic the Gathering, and was eager to buy some booster packs. The shop guys were very friendly and helpful, and threw in a few free starting decks and a whole bunch of random cards. Awesome, thank you guys so much!
