Customer Reviews
Round1 Bowling & Arcade - Concord has a rating of 4 out of 5 based on over 1757 reviews on Google
Fun place to get out and have some fun with the kiddos. It is a little small and can be disappointing when they have a lot of games that do not work or they tap to play and take the coins. It is hard to find someone for help. The food is not good at all, and the options are very limited however, it can be expensive for those limited options so eat before you go. They also do not have very many adult options which can be disappointing when you are going to be sitting for hours to play or bowl. But the plus is they do have TONs of dining options very close by
Nice location in mall with food court next door. Crowdy but lots of options for fun - bowling, billiards, arcade. We went for arcade. They don't have all you can play options here, it just for 4-5 games Lots of Japanese styles games and claw machines to spend credits in the hope of winning Love the dollar ice cream
Let me start off by saying this place is AMAAZING!!!!!!! The games and employees are amazing!! If we needed help with a machine, someone was always there to help !! My son loves the RICK AND MORTY BLIPS AND CHITZ GAME!! We’ve been trying to find it since we last played it in Vegas.. secondly, there are sooo many games here!! The money you spend here is well worth it!!!!! The prizes, games, and employees are great! We drove all the way from Sacramento and will definitely come back to visit often.. the Arcade is clean and all of the games are well taken care of which is a plus! They have bowling as well…. Just come, you won’t regret it! Love this place!
Way over priced. And the last time we went for a birthday celebration. There were about 8 claw machines with empty platforms but the machines had plenty of plushies in the storage next to the claw platform which needed to be placed on the platform in order to play. I brought this to the attention of an employee. He said, oh yeah, you just let us know when you want to play. I said, my daughter would like to play. He said which one, I said all of them. He only put 2 plushies on the platforms on about 4 of the machines and said he has other people waiting to help him and to let him know if we need anything else. Seriously?! I just asked him to please make the games playable by filling up the platforms on the games that were empty and he did half them then left. It didn't make any sense.. I spent so much money and need to look for help reloading each game every time my daughter wants to play? I'm not going there anymore, it's too expensive and the games aren't ready to be played, some are broken and employees don't want to help. Go to Dave & Buster's instead or to your local bowling place for more fun and games.
We waited in a long line for the bowling, there was no person to help as the line grew for over 15 minutes. I went to ask if there was someone to help us and was told no by a girl who rolled her eyes and turned around after I politely asked (she did come over to the line after). We put our name on the waitlist for the bowling, were told wait would be about 1 hour and they would text us when ready. We waited 1.5 hours with no text, went back to ask how close we were. Employee named "Dylen"asked for our name, we gave it and he got upset and was rude with us though we were very calm and kind and just asked if the lane was ready. He said no you didn’t show, we confirmed our number with him but for sure they did not text us as I was getting other texts during that time just fine. Then instead of offering for us to be next he said we would have to put our name on the list for 1.5 hours again. Just honestly the worst service and rudest people, very disappointing and disorganized. I don’t recommend coming during busy times though maybe in off hours it would be ok.
My first thought was they got rid of the ice skating rink for 12 Lanes of bowling?? I'll never understand why they got rid of the ice skating rink it's never cheap to put one of those and then we had a lot of fun. Is a great place to have lessons it was local it was as if this town did all they could to tear apart things that the kids love to do.. this arcade there's a bunch of claw games and I just don't understand why there's not any more game games but I'll be honest I think everyone's tired of video games. It might be a better idea for them to take pictures for their web page where it's loaded with people. We went bowling on Thanksgiving my daughter and I and it costs $57 for two people. It looks like the bowling alley of the future! We had fun but I still wish that we had the ice skating rink. In the cinema that was there Sun valley Cinema. I have a bunch of memories at the mall growing up. I mean seriously who remembers the world's Fair down there where you can get anything you wanted to eat it was awesome! They need stuff like that so they can get people in there to shop! Another to starting all over.
My boyfriend took me to Round One as a first stop on my birthday day of outings. I had never been before but it was absolutely so much fun. We played two games of bowling and I love that the bowling area is smaller than your typical bowling alley. We were there around 11am on Sunday so it wasn't busy and super quiet. I enjoyed our experience and appreciated the amount of bowling ball options in various sizes. The arcade games are also very fun! There are a bit too many claw machines and I do think there's an opportunity to replace most of those with more games. The bathroom was clean, but a lot of the soap spouts at the sinks were broken. Overall, we will definitely return- it's a nice and affordable date option!
