Half Price Books

The store has a wide selection of books, games, and movies/TV series DVD sets. Great second hand market to breathe new life into used books. Now then, let's get on with the Loo Guru Review. The bathroom floors were wet, there's signage that says it is, but for some reason the grout lines in the tiles are always wet when I walk into here. Odor control is alright, not the best. But it smells pretty neutral in here. Restroom is subpar on cleanliness due to etched in graffiti and splotchy mirrors. The restroom is stocked with plenty of toilet paper and paper towels. So that's a plus. Water coming out of the faucet smells rather earthy. But ain't that big a deal. Trash seems to be kept up with. Only things I'd fix are the graffiti and find out why the grout lines are always wet. Must be a leak somewhere in the wall. 3/5 stars.

This store is absolutely HUGE. It has an enormous selection of books, music (CDs, vinyls, etc.), movies, games, and puzzles. The kids book area was absolutely full to the brim. In fact, it was VERY difficult to flip through the shelves because nearly every single shelf was stuffed completely full. I came here today to get some children's books, but I was shocked by the pricing. I could not for the life of me figure out how they were pricing the books. All the Dr. Seuss books were priced at $4.99 regardless of condition, but they're a mere $1 more brand new on Amazon. Definitely not even close to "half price". In fact, the more I checked prices on Amazon, the more astonished I was. About 80% of the time, buying the book on Amazon brand new would only cost you $1-2 more than buying it from this store. In some cases, Half Priced Books was charging $1-2 MORE than the cost of the book bought brand new. I only found a small handful of books that were ACTUALLY half priced, and I snagged them. However, the much smaller clearance section DID have some actual deals. Most the books in the clearance section were $1-3. That's where I got the most bang for my buck. Overall I was pretty disappointed. I thought I would save a lot of money, but this place should be renamed "Barely Discounted Books" or "$1 Off MSRP Books"

My son brings me books from here whenever he travels to a place where they have one. I wanted to personally go, so i made a little day trip to the nearest one(about 2.5hrs away). Absolutely worth it! Went a bit overboard(and over budget), but I just couldn't help myself. They have such great bargains! Going on vacation soon and am making it a point to add it to my list of places to go.

Always fun to go in and see what’s new. Found quite a few books that I haven’t found or seen in some time. Prices are descent and employees are very friendly and helpful.

Love Half-priced bookstore, always a great time shopping there. They have a huge variety of old records, video games, Funko Pops, and of course used books for all ages. I could spend hours just looking through the shelves and their cute book/merch displays. The coffee shop attached is a great place to sit and enjoy a beverage as well. Can't wait to visit again!

The staff is so helpful here. I was wondering around and a sweetie pie helped me find the memoir I'd been searching for then even gave me other recommendations. Very neat shelves and good vibes.

Good collection of dvds and some Wii games too which was nice. Unfortunately not a so broad range of fiction and kind of pricey books wise (got 6 used books for 50 dollars) but nice atmosphere and good service.
