Awesome bookstore in Denton. They have a customer loyalty program that is cool. Good selection of books, wide variety of topics. Got to chat about some of their bookclubs with staff. They will order a book you want if they don't have it. They'll also show you some books you may like based on other ones you're interested in or enjoyed reading. Easy to sort through and read the books on the shelves, no digging or searching. Very cute kids section too.

So sad to hear this place is closing its doors. I live far from Denton so I haven’t been able to make it out there often, but it has always been cemented as one of my favorite bookstores in my mind. The ambience, the cozy atmosphere, the smells & the adorable soaps and candles, the book selection - and of course, the staff - who seemed to really care about their jobs and books. I just really loved this place. So much so, I made it a point to take a friend who visited from out of state when she stayed with me. Will definitely miss this place. If you ever decide to open another location somewhere, I’ll be at the door day 1. Thank you for the wonderful memories you brought to Denton.

What a great quaint bookstore!! They really did a great job decorating with the Denton Square for Halloween!!!

Nice little bookshop that offers a little for almost every subject. The selection wasn't the best, as there were just a few books for each genre. The kids area was amazing. Not only did it offer a great selection of kids books, but it also had a small reading area and some small toys for them if they got bored.

Cute store. Smelled great and staff were very nice. Low rating bc selection was lacking. I didn't see any recent publications. And what was there, just really wasn't much.

Exceptional service and collection. The store smells divine as soon as you walk in and it really sets the tone inviting book lovers to browse and shop and chat with the attentive staff. Booksellers are my people.

I love Patchouli's! My wife and I were visiting Denton for an evening and happened to walk by Patchouli's. I have a conditional where I must enter all bookstores I pass, so naturally we entered. What a welcoming and peaceful environment! Not only do they have a wide selection of books across a wide selection of genres, but the whole place is clean, organized, tidy, and thoughtfully laid out. We spent around 30 minutes roaming the shelves and point out different titles. We also love the kids area, which it's beautiful books and miniature reading chairs. Thanks for the great time!
