Always lol a dangerous place for me to enter… will have mission for just couple items, but nooooooooo,,, I’ll walk out of there with a bag full of goodies (CDs, albums, books) at durn good prices. Staff here is quite helpful, place is clean and organized. Big fan of this store.

First time ever stepping foot in there, and it was to sell a bunch of books I had that I didn't like anymore. Gave me a far fairer price than I expected with how some of the books were annotated. As far as the inside of the store goes, it seemed so cozy for such a large place! It reminded me of my school library and of the public library I went to when I was a toddler-8 year old. Love those vibes and I will definitely be back! Staff were very nice too!

I've had my nose in a book since I was a child. Half Price Books has long been one of my favorite places to find a good read. The staff are friendly and one can expect to be greeted upon entering the store. The prices, as you might guess, are more affordable than the typical book store. The store offers new and used books. I recommend checking out the clearance section in the back of the store. I've also sold books at this store. Whether you are looking for a book for yourself or buying a gift, you are sure to find it here. They also sell records, stationary and journals. Highly recommend!

They have many different types of items you could want: books for cheap (obviously), but also movies, music, and even a selection of games. They also buy stuff for prices that make sense (They will tell you why it is worth the price, whether fair or poor). I highly recommend them, especially when looking for gifts for the people in your life.

This store has super cool vinyl records. Found some gems rarely seen at other record stores! Vintage Moody Blues with original 8 page insert; plenty of 80’s records. Sports books were in somewhat short supply. Study bibles in short supply. Good game section. No doubt will visit again next time in Ft Wayne.

Staff is very helpful. This is a great place to find second-hand books. I have had a mixed experience purchasing online though. You will not find the same quality of books. You will not find the same quality of books online that you will find on the shelf in the store. I have purchased more than a few dilapidated books ONLINE that should have gone into the garbage rather than being sold to a person. In each case I was refunded my money. I have also had three episodes where the BOOK NEVER ARRIVED.

Name no longer true. They "price competitively", read price gouge, and charge the highest price they find online. Wanted $130 for a damaged copy of a DVD box set normally going for around $70 online, but the lady found it for more online, so high price it stayed. Showed her the actual HPB ebay was selling it for around $103 in very good condition, but the lowest she would go for a banged up copy with a broken case was $100. Nothing but scalpers with a storefront now. Go back to half cover price! If we could afford collectors prices, we wouldn't be shopping here! Edit: Just checked the official Half Price Books website and the exact same set in better condition is $80. I don't know where the Fort Wayne HPB gets off thinking they can gouge for inferior product.
