Books-A-Million

The older woman at the checkout that has a lisp and long fake nails was so rude towards me and acted like she just wanted me put of the store as fast as possible. It's disappointing, but surely there are nicer bookstores to visit in Gainesville. I received help from another worker, and bought a mandarin language book from here but I won't be shopping at this book-a-million again and will be returning this book tomorrow. It's not like I was rude, I am respectful and it's just unusual to receive this kind of treatment when unwarranted.

It's a bookstore, of course I loved it! Well laid out and more spacious than others I've been to. Always like finding unique gifts here. Joe Muggs had new drinks that drew us in as well.

What a great location off of the interstate. Easy to find. Needed a little rest and enjoy some coffee from Joe's Muggs read a magazine and relax a little while from traveling. I thought it was great that they buy back books and if they have used books and CDs available. I'm glad to see Books-A-Million is diversifying itself. This store was very large busy and a staff was friendly. Everything seemed to be well organized. It has been a long time since I have seen such a large selection of books magazines and other gift items

This place is expensive, I love being able to go to a brick and mortar store and getting books but I limit the number of visits because of the prices. They can't compete with Amazon on price or convenience but if they dont figure out how to, they'll end up like the other bookstores Amazon swallowed.

Nothing beats a cozy book store! BAM has a membership fee that for physical book addicts will save a lot of money. Lately books have been inking art onto the pages and BAM does a great job of displaying the popular titles and the ones that even if you never read will make your book collection amazing no matter what aesthetic you go for. It could use a few more comfy places to sit though

Best place for any kind of magazine you can think of... Friendly staff and very clean... Good prices on books...

Love this place! I drive up from Ocala to shop at this store. They have a great selection of kids and adult books along with a toy and gift section.
