Coffee and A Comic

AMAZING SPOT!!! Super sweet owner who just loves comics and sharing the love with others, I came around opening time and he gave me a whole tour of the shop, showing me where everything is and all the cool stuff they have!! IF YOURE LOOKING FOR NEW COMICS THIS IS THE SPOT!!! The whole first room as you walk in is filled with new comics and merch and I found some of the newest Absolute issues i couldnt find anywhere else!!! Definitely coming back!!! It’s a little hard to find but worth it pls look for it!!!

Randomly found Coffee and A Comic when trying to find a card shop. We decided to walk in and was met with the friendliest employees! I was blown away to see how much they had in stock. Staff is super knowledgeable and gave us a tour so we could better understand the layout and organization of the store. I love Knull, so I was pleased to see variant editions for the comics I wanted to buy. I definitely will be coming back. Also, they make a wickedly good cup of coffee!

One of the best coMic book stores in orange county! They clearly care about you as the customer. I bought four comics and got a free comic and coffee as a bonus. Owner is awesome and showed us around the whole store! I’ll be back next week for more!

I’ve been meaning to visit this comic shop for a while, and today I finally stopped by—what a refreshing experience. It’s been a long time since I’ve been to a comic store where the staff is friendly, welcoming, and genuinely helpful, and where they don’t shy away from a good conversation. I totally recommend this place, and I’ll definitely be back. Thanks, Jeff and Coffin!

Everyone needs to come here!! So many great comic books!! Superb customer service!! They have such a great selection. Everytime I go to OC I will always stop by here!!

My favorite comic shop in southern California and the go-to guy to talk about all things comics! Fresh comics on Wednesdays and loads of back issues to go through as well as a selection of trades and hardcover graphic novels! I've been frequenting Coffee and a Comic since June of 2023 and it's been such a cool place to visit on days like Free Comic Book Day (FCBD) or Batman Day or in-store signings. Super easy to set up a pull list at the shop and you can pick up in-store or easily have it shipped out. A common misconception that I've seen personally is fresh new customers walk in and they expect fresh coffee as if the shop itself is a coffee cafe, but although the blissful aroma may fool you, coffee is not typically served in the shop...instead each purchase is completed by adding a fresh pack of grounded coffee, all different types of roasts! And stickers, don't forget the stickers!

Let me be clear: this may be the first google review I’ve ever written. But I thought I needed to say something about this great comic book shop that I visited today. I have been collecting comics for almost 40 years. Over the last few months I have reignited my love for the hobby, and have been visiting all of the comic book shops in Orange County. I stopped by Coffee and a Comic today, and was blown away by the passion and dedication that Jeff (the owner) has to comic books. As soon as I entered his shop, he gave me a personal tour of the whole space, and we ended up talking in detail about recent releases, as well as our shared passion for the Punisher. Jeff is the real deal. If you want a cool spot to check out the latest releases or to peruse back issues to find your latest hunts, Coffee and a Comic is the place for you. I will be returning without a doubt.
