Beausoleil Books & Whisper Room

Good bookstore with great vibes. So many of the staff recommendations were books I've read and loved, so I definitely trust their staff picks. I wish the poetry section were bigger, but they had a few good picks.

absolutely amazing!! great staff great selection diverse representation in there sections! loved it so much!

Cute local bookstore, friendly staff. Didn’t have the book we were looking for but ended up buying another one!

Went there once again for a book presentation, this time by Zachary Richard for his first novel, in French, Les Rafales du Carême 👍😊. The atmosphere of the bookstore, the kindness of the staff, including Pascale, and the owner, Bryan, make us feel very welcomed. Amazing selection of books, especially by Louisiana authors, in French language 😉🤗. Highly recommended!

Excited to have Cavalier House Books in Lafayette! John and Michelle are so nice! Can't wait to see how they grow the book community!

Very hip, very cool spot. Love the bookstore, hope they eventually expand, and would love to see them add a shelf for drama books/plays. Absolutely relaxed and rad vibe, quiet and relaxed and the staff is friendly, laid back, and helpful.

Cute little bookstore with a nice bar area to enjoy. They have games for patrons to play and also serve food. Pretty sweet. Hope it makes it.
