Cinergy Midland South Featuring EPIC

The only reason I’m not putting 1 star is because the two girls that helped with the human claw game were sweet and helpful. Now the escape room girl was TERRIBLE. Her attitude was so bad I thought she was borderline joking and part of the escape room act. So so disappointing. It was the first time I had ever done an escape room and my niece as well so we were excited and she was rude, my niece asked questions and she literally ignored her question and made a condescending remark. It got to a point where I asked her if she was okay….and she just walked off. She also walked into the room multiple times scolding at us for props and cabinets that were part of the experience. Even if she did need to tell us to put something back there is a way to talk to customers. I know we all have bad days but when you are paying for a service I expect some sort of engagement and professionalism. This is really unfortunate because I will be taking my business to the new Cinergy to hopefully get a different experience. For the sake of hopefully some coaching or follow up with the employee it was The Heist Escape room that happened yesterday at 8:30. Never doing an experience like that again at this location.

Nice clean theater, close to HEB, Costco, Sams and I20. Not very crowded. Expensive menu items.

Lucas at the ticket podium was brought up right. I said thank you and he said "you’re welcome". Now you might think what’s the big deal, well seems like everyone says "no problem" after saying "thank you". I know it’s "no problem", the correct response is "you’re welcome". Thank you Lucas. Fine young man, great service. January 31st, 2026.

My wife and I love this place. Food and Fun. Just wish we can get a soda at the bar while ordering mixed drinks. We have to wait in anouther line for a soda. The odessa cinergy bar you can get both.

This is a pretty good example of how a movie theatre should be. I have visited here maybe 12 times and the theatre is very consistent at what it does best - delivering quality affordable experiences. The theatre is super clean. I can’t stand a theatre that when you walk in your feet are slightly sticking to the floor with each step. You will not have that issue here. The chairs are comfortable and clean as well. The snack bar prices are not outlandish. Neither are the prices at the adult bar. I think you will all enjoy this theatre. Go and give it a try!!!

Fabulous seating. Comfy clean atmosphere. The game room was exciting and fun! Great fun for the whole family. Plus they have a full menu.

Once a year my family splurges and as part of the family Christmas/Hanukkah gift we go to see a movie and most years has been at one of the Cinergy’s. It’s very expensive for a family of 5 but for the once a year gift we usually do it in epic and get a meal to eat during the movie. For us it’s a very big deal. It kind of seems like this location is going down a little. Today though was really annoying- after spending $170 for tickets, food and drinks I ended up missing the beginning of the movie because all 4 burgers that were brought to us as the movie started were made wrong. We were specific when ordering but they were put in wrong. I thought one was correct till I talked to the manager who remembered making them, and she corrected me and when I realized the one I left behind was also wrong she said to go back and get it. We were in the top row to have the best view and by the time I walked up the steps for the 3rd time I could barely pull myself up the last half (I have had many surgeries on my ankle and have issues with stairs!). I really wish I thought of having them grab the burger when they were going to bring us the corrected ones. By the time I finally got to sit down after going back and forth twice I had missed quite a bit of the movie and had trouble following along. My kids were worried for me because they saw that I was struggling so it really sullied the experience we look forward to every year but we still got to have our day together. I’m looking forward to when the movie comes out in streaming because I’d like to actually see the whole thing. There was also a smell that was a little off, I couldn’t quite place what it was but it was unpleasant.
