Very enjoyable bookstore. They were friendly, helpful, and seemed to enjoy their job and socializing with patrons. Great selection. Clean, organized, and spacious. During my visit, they were in the process of wrapping mystery books. I think that is such a great trend going on right now. Because sometimes we dont know what we want to read next, but we want to leave with something 🤔
I used to go this store all of the time to see all of the new stuff that they sold. They sell way more than just books. They have all kind of trinkets for sell. They sell so many types of collectibles. And yes they sell books too. They have so many different literature to choose from. If you can't find a book on a subject you are looking to read up on here, then I am at a loss of words. It is such a peaceful place to go and sit down and read a good book. I almost at times preferred going here over an library, because I found it to be a lot more relaxing. If you want a nice relaxing atmosphere to go and enjoy the day at, then this is the place for you. I would highly recommend it. It is a Top Notch of a place.
Books are often not in stock and must be ordered. Just these past few months they have not had Dark Age (Red Rising series) and Dune Messiah (Dune series) in stock. These are well-known books. As such, I have to wait for them to be shipped or go to Barnes & Noble in Brentwood (they seem to always have everything I need ...) It drives me crazy, especially when this location is so convenient. Other than this, I have no complaints. Staff is always pleasant and helpful.
I loved this store! There must have been a million books here! Not only was it well stocked with books, there were plenty of action figures, funko pops, Legos and a wide variety of other cool collectibles scattered throughout this spacious store.
I guess I should've looked at the online reviews before even thinking anyone that works here would have any clue as to how to solve a simple problem and actually provide good service to returning customers. I bought a book that was a certain cost (said it on two stickers on the back of the book) and then somehow I apotted a higher cost on my bill. When I asked the cashier about it, they called their store manager, and I was like, okay cool, I guess they're just going to honor the lower price. But no, I was told that's what "their system" was showing it to be. Brother. And their customer service online was useless. So yeah, not going back ever again and warning others to stay away from this store or just BAM in general if you care about your money.
In my personal opinion, when a store says it will be open until 9pm, it should at least have doors open until 8:45pm. Locking the doors at 8pm is crazy and very inconvenient for people that come here just for this store. Multiple people walked up just in the couple minutes that we were standing outside. Very unprofessional.
I went shopping here today and got a book light that I’ve been needing. When I opened it the clip wasn’t sturdy and the light was on a swivel that made it fall back when laying in bed so I decided to return it the same day since it wasn’t working for my needs. When I went in the young girl with the red hair began helping me and when I showed her she replied with "I’m sure the product works how it is suppose to." It just made me very embarrassed and uncomfortable to finish the rest of the transaction with her and I just asked if I could return it very nicely. Then they tried to say it was gift card only. Hope this doesn’t happen again.
