Royal Cinemas 14 & World’s Tallest IMAX

The largest IMAX reached my expectations. IT IS LARGE. For scale I am in the bottom right next to the screen. I came 3 hours down from South Carolina to see Avatar Fire and Ash, and I am not disappointed. I am a big fan of 3D tech; I own 2 3D TV’s and probably 50-100 3D blu ray’s. I have always heard that the 3D effect scales with the size of the screen, and that is definitely true. Witnessing 3D on the tallest IMAX made the movie POP. There was so much depth! This was a great experience and worth the drive. I will be coming back!

I had an absolutely amazing experience at Royal Cinemas! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere felt upscale, clean, and welcoming. The seating is incredibly comfortable, the screens are crystal clear, and the sound quality makes you feel completely immersed in the movie. What truly sets Royal Cinemas apart is their incredible open bar. Being able to enjoy a perfectly crafted drink before (or even during) the movie takes the entire experience to another level. The selection is impressive, the drinks are well-made, and the staff at the bar are friendly and professional. The customer service overall was top-tier — attentive, courteous, and efficient. Everything felt well-organized, and you can tell they care about giving guests a premium experience. If you’re looking for more than just a movie night, Royal Cinemas delivers a luxury experience from start to finish. Highly recommend — I’ll definitely be coming back! 🎬🍸

This was intense. We watched fantastic four on the world’s tallest IMAX. I’m not a big fan of going to the movies, but my best friends and husband are, SO I just go for the popcorn. And the popcorn was really good. Here are some pictures of what is on their walls before you go into the theater. I guess you will need to go to Pooler Georgia to see the rest. They are quite impressive wall art.

This is the worst theater in the Pooler community. The seats do not recline, and the management is completely unprofessional. I highly recommend that you do not come here—there are many other theaters in the area that offer a much better experience. The building also reeks of mold and mildew. Honestly, it needs to be closed.

The seating was very comfortable, and the food center offered a decent selection of snacks. The nacho cheese had an unusual aftertaste, though it still worked well as a dip for popcorn. The "small" popcorn portion was surprisingly large, which was a pleasant surprise, although the popcorn itself would have been more enjoyable if it had been fresher.

Always enjoy going to Royal Cinemas. The folks behind the counter are friendly and know how to smile😃. I love the size of the "large" soft drink cups--no need to go for a refill in the middle of the movie (which is why I stopped going to the other movie theater in town!). Comfortable seating is a plus. Would highly recommend!!

Watched SUPERMAN in the IMAX screen and I must say it was a remarkable life experience, I felt like I was IN the movie, couldn't recommend this enough. I thought the tickets were a bit pricey at first (60$ for the two of us) but I get the hype. I will definitely be coming back to watch Christopher Nolan's The Odyssey as soon as it comes out next year. Fantastic place and worth the drive! Recommended👍🏻
