ABC Books

This is the best used bookstore in Springfield! The atmosphere is fun, the selection is fantastic and the staff are friendly and helpful. It’s hard to find a bookstore that captures the space where you can go shopping for a new adventure while feeling nostalgic. We will be shopping here often as the prices and selection are exactly what we are looking for. If you want a new book or a great place to find an old favorite, you have to give ABC Books a try. 10/10 highly recommend!

I can't believe I'd never been to this gem before! It has just about all you could want your used bookstore to have: lots of options, fun sections, low prices, and knowledgeable, personable staff! I had so much fun here.

I have been going for years, known the owner for just as long, any time me or my family wanted books we come here, we know we will be treated with respect and are welcome. With a wide selection of books on a range of topics and they are always helpful with ordering books they dont have in stock. With helping the community in small ways this small business has a big heart.

I stopped by for the first time today. I witnessed the kindest act by the staff (maybe owner?) when someone came in looking for help with bus fare for a housing appointment. They gave with an open heart to make sure the man had what he needed to make it to his time sensitive appointment on the other side of town. A pure example of what community can and should be. 💗

Wonderful, locally owned, small, independent bookstore with a terrific selection, helpful and friendly staff, and one of a kind finds. They accept books for trade, host book signings, author events and more.

Found a rare, out-of-print book I have been searching for a long time. Seller previously shared that they ship with cardboard boxes, however I received the book in a plastic polymailer with no protection and it sustained dents on all corners. Disappointed as I now have a damaged book and no way to repurchase another.

I stopped by ABC Books for the first time today & I will definitely be back! They have a great variety of genres that are organized nicely, and the setup of the place/the decorations are very cozy. The woman who helped me at the front desk was also extremely kind and helpful!
