Warhammer

Sugi runs the Springfield Warhammer store. He was an absolute joy to meet with. He was very welcoming to newbies like my daughter and I and was very patient with us and all our questions. He even invited us back anytime we would like to just chill and paint minis or engage in a quick battle. He cultivates a family friendly environment and radiates positivity that seems to be rare in many of todays game shops. That positivity was reflected by all of the other Warhammer enthusiasts that were in the store that day we stopped by. They were all just as welcoming and willing to answer any of our questions and give us great suggestions and information. Because of this visit my daughter who was on the fence about engaging in a new hobby with her dad now is super excited about building and painting minis and playing a new table top game. Thanks to Sugi and the rest of the folks there about recommending the Nemesis Claw KT. We will definitely be stopping by again. 10/10 would absolutely recommend.

Amazing customer service. Immediately upon entering he greeted us and was very eager to teach us to play and answer any questions that we had. He let us play a game with the store's figures and even let us paint our first miniatures for free. We even got to keep them! Spectacular experience, would highly recommend.

I had a great experience at this store today! I went into the store looking for guidance on getting into the lore of the universe and Sugi was a huge help! He also helped me paint my first miniature and it was a very fun and enjoyable experience overall! Will be visiting this store more often for the good vibes and to build my collection! Thanks Sugi for making my visit a very pleasant experience! 10/10!!

I have never played Warhammer, I have never painted a mini, and today, I did both for completely free. Me and my friend said we were going to be coming back home in 10 to 15 minutes just to look, and here we are now leaving 3 1/2 hours later because we have work tonight and can't afford to stay up any longer. I was on the fence about Warhammer, but I am officially fan and am now learning how to build a fun Adeptus Mechanicus army. My wallet may weep due to my own desire for too many pieces but my heart sings with joy beyond compare. 5/5 please come here. Staff did everything and so much more to teach and imprint on us the joy of Warhammer as a game and franchise.

The young man working at the store was very understanding of my ignorance overall. One thing led to another and now I'm building myself and AoS army! 10/10 would recommend. In other news, Springfield has some amazing barbecue spots as well!

TRY IT OUT! I'll be honest, as a young woman I'd normally avoid tabletop game stores. It's awful dealing with body odor or social awkwardness. But, FEAR NOT! THIS STORE HAS NEITHER! Sugi (I hope I'm spelling that right), the store owner, really knows what he's doing with this place. Immediately after opening the door, I could smell a soft but pleasant scent. Then, Sugi waved and gave me the warmest welcome I've ever gotten in a retail store. Immediately, I felt safe. He gave my friend and I through a quick TLDR on Warhammer, let us paint a figurine each for free, and guided us through the nuance so we never felt lost or unsupported. As a human, there is nothing more whole than hearing someone talk about something they're passionate about. Walk into this store with an open mind and a soft heart and I promise you will find that.

Had a wonderful time here, would absolutely recommend it to beginners like myself. Me and my friend were treated very kindly by Sugi who gave us a good run down of the game and even had us paint mini figures in store!
