Hypno-Tronic Comics

I was visiting New York in April/May 2023 and from time to time remember this nice little shop 💖 and the nice lady chatting with us about some nerd stuff. In Hamburg, Germany, we have some similar shops around. This place was awesome. Our trip to Staten Island was a rainy one and without any other highlights... exept the Dunkin Donuts. Yeah... but no! Hypno-Tronic Comics made the day!!! 🙂 Hope to be back one day 😃

Epic store! Came specifically to see the "Staten Island Ferry Disaster Memorial" 🤣 and left with a perfect Marvel souvenir of Ironmans Arc Reactor. The memorial story had made its way to New Zealand, I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to see it myself whilst stateside. Fabulous shop, floor to ceiling with memorabilia and collectors items. Look forward to visiting again sometime!

I live on the island and the store is a walk from me I really love this store it gives a great buy I bin going there for years I bought a lot of good pops and also have taken my friends there and they love the store as well they usually go there to buy comics I go there to buy funko pops or plushies and there in really mint condition they also have some DVDs I have bought some family guy volumes from there 🔥 I love this place

An nice little nook right near the Staten Island Ferry. A little more than a block away from Empire Outlets so while you shop take a look. Ask and ye shall receive. Give them a call and get your books reserved. Comic Shops are unfortunately far too rare nowadays so head in and take a look. Nice friendly service and if they don't have what you are looking for they will try to find it for you. Great place. Held my books for some time because I was away but everything is here. Thanks.

Great place. Owner is lovely and very friendly. Wild variety of comics, toys, movies, etc from countless eras/genres/formats. Prices are good, you can get some great deals on vintage items. Wrestling stuff, horror stuff, sci-fi, $1 comics, great condition laserdiscs (!), t-shirts, etc etc. Worth a visit from the city, you’ll be on a great street too for drinks, Thai food, Turkish food, bagels, Mexican food, plus St. George’s Theatre.

The owner is wonderful and joyous. It has a lot of neat things. If you are anywhere around that area and appreciate comics and that world I think it a good place to visit.
