Parthenon Books

My friend and I were visiting Syracuse and we came across this bookstore. We truly enjoyed walking through the store, and there is so much life in this store. The staff were lovely and had such insightful recommendations. I just wish they were able to have more books that we could peruse.

Great little bookstore. Nicely curated collection with a spotlight on local artists. The staff were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, willing to help with recommendations. I didn’t try the coffee, but it sure smelled good!

Spacious, friendly bookstore with a café - the only issue is that a lot of their shelves are bare! We enjoyed looking around, browsing books while sitting on the comfy chairs. The staff was very enthusiastic and friendly.

fun indie bookstore and i enjoyed the creative touches in the artwork displayed as well as ways that the staff interact with the customers by having personalized recommendations on the shelves. not a five star because the staff wasn’t particularly friendly or interested in helping, the prices were expensive, and there wasn’t a lot of variety in the books themselves.

Diverse and well-curated selection of books! Surprising number of signed editions and fun staff pick categories on display. Used books are designated with a dot sticker on the spine, and the pricing is very fair. It doesn’t take long to make it through the store, the setup is very spacious, and it would probably be easy to navigate during busy times. I visited right when they opened and had a nice browse, bought 2 books.

Cute little indie bookstore! Don't expect the variety of something big like a B&N, but I think they still had a good selection (I found 2 books I've been wanting to read that came out this year while browsing). I also appreciate the way it was organized, made it easy to browse. Didn't try anything from their cafe but I like that they have it! Also while coming on here to write a review I saw several people saying staff were unfriendly, but at least the person who was working while I was in there this afternoon was very nice! Greeted me when I walked in, came up to ask if I needed help finding anything after I had been browsing for a bit, & was friendly while I was checking out!
