Comic Kings

I finally got to visit this store after it was highly recommended to me. Amazing staff members who were happy to help, talk and love what they do. I felt like I didn’t spend enough time there. Even though I did. They just made me feel like I was right at home. I finally got my hands on a Pokemon card set that I’ve never had the chance to open. Which was an added bonus. 100% will be a returning customer. Thank you.

Joey the owner super nice guy and easy to work with. Has a great store with alot of items n selection for many collectors. I feel best in the area. Nice employees that are helpful on helping u find what your looking for. Just getting into collecting or your a long time serious collector. Comic kings is the place for you.

This is a very cool store. They got a little bit of everything. MTG, pokemon, comic, and old school toys. I was definitely impressed with their prices on sealed MTG products. Definitely give this place a chance.

I went in with my 4 year old daughter looking for baseball cards. They didn’t have any sports items but the man named Josh was so pleasantly helpful. He told me where to go for the sports cards, and when.. He realized my daughter had a birthday hat on and he gave her a lil something for Pokémon cards since he didn’t have what we were looking for. He then grabbed my son a little something as well so he wasn’t left out. We are not a Pokémon card family, but I want to go back and buy some from Josh just because he was so nice and pleasant. Highly recommend this store just for the customer service alone!

Been going to Comic Kings for over 20 years now. Still my favorite shop! Local Heroes is great too when you're in Norfolk, but CK is a Virginia Beach STAPLE!!!!!!!! Enjoy!!

We went to Comic Kings yesterday for the first time and WOW! What a shop! We were greeted upon entering and the place was buzzing with all kinds of gamers. The staff members were friendly, ready to help and very knowledgeable. Their comic book selection is extensive and there are books for all ages. My youngest even got a Bluey book which made his day. The oldest and I couldn’t help but check out the rare Pokémon cards… and there’s a HUGE box of more common ones to dig through and a table for you to sit and sort too! They have a highly desirable Cheeto Charizard which I have never seen in person and was absolutely thrilled about. (sorry, not sorry, big nerd.) I thought I found a new switch case but it turned out to be a Pikachu overflow case for duplicate trading cards which was even better. After we checked out, our associate, Joey handed my little boys Pokémon posters and a HUGE jumbo Pikachu playing card. They were SO excited about it to the point that everyone we’ve came across the last 24 hours know about it. We will most certainly be back.

I've been coming here for years. Great selection and a wonderful atmosphere. The staff are welcoming and happy to help. Not only do they sell comics, but they also support trading card games and hold weekly tournaments and have space for casual play.
