I’ve been to quite a few events and they’re always so much fun! Natasha, the owner, is such a sweetheart too. She puts so much care into her store and her events. If you visit The Well Red Damsel, you might also get lucky and meet Bert, the best book selling pup! Absolutely OBSESSED! I'm in town visiting family and had to check the Well Red Damsel out!! And I'm so glad I did! The shop itself is so fun and pink and welcoming. The stock is beautifully curated and diverse, which can be rare in romance bookstores. And the staff is WONDERFUL, so kind and helpful! A must-go for anyone in Milwaukee!

The Well Red Damsel is such a wonderful place to be! Natasha the owner is always so welcoming and cute little visits from Bert always make my day! Not only Natasha but the staff here as well are so welcoming. If I could give it 100 stars I would! They host SO MANY fun events, partnering with other businesses in the community, and can't forget the book clubs!! Her expansion/new room adds such a great variety of fantasy and dark romance, there's something here for every single romance reader! An absolute gem to have in our community!!!

Amazing selection of romance books with every sub genre you can think of. Theres also a large selection of merch like book marks, hats, clothes, Keychains, artwork, candles, and so much more. They've got everything for the romance book lover.

Do I spend all my time here?... Yes. Is my bank account happy about it?... What she doesn't know doesn't hurt her. The Well Red Damsel is a wonderful immersive space, filled with good people and all the romance books you could ask for. I always find myself smiling as I walk out the door because even if I didn't make a purchase, it's just a lovely space to be a part of. I have been to many events hosted by The Well Red Damsel and dare I say I have too much fun. I now have more friends and too many memories to count. I have nothing but love for this store and am excited to see what new events they whip up!

I love this romance bookstore! The owner has decorated so well and has a vast selection of romance books! The owner also partners with local artists (more than just books in here!). Every event that has been held has been a blast! (Authors for book signings, live art, and so much more!) I believe this place has made such a nice community for all who enjoy reading (let’s face it - all good books have love ❤️). Also did I mention the co-owner? He’s a cute lovable bulldog. So if your looking for romance books, fun events, cute art, and a loving community- you HAVE to stop by!

A truly wonderful store and atmosphere. Took my pup on a road trip from Chicago and The Well Red Damsel was the perfect stop. They were accommodating and welcoming to us. The store itself was well stocked and super clean. The staff (and Bert) were great and super helpful. Highly recommend if you’re in the area and love romance books. I can’t wait to see what is in store them next!
