CMX Grand 10 Cinemas

I did not know Winterhaven had a Theatre. I’m from Lake Wales but my husband lives nearby in a retirement home on Havendale, so it was extremely convenient to take him out and take him to the movie. We went to see Song Sung Blue. The theater is small and it’s older. But it was clean, the restrooms were clean and the employees were friendly enough. He left his phone in the theater under the seat. I tried to call on the phone because I do not live close by but the phone system does not work. I had to drive back over there to get the phone. The employees apologized for that and said they were getting a new phone system soon. And, in my experience most theaters do not answer the phone today. I really didn’t have any issues with this theatre. And I would take him again to see something else. Most likely on a Tuesday when it’s cheaper or earlier in the day.

I finally got a night away to watch Predator Badlands. I have been really looking forward to seeing it on the big screen. It was showing in theater #7 on 11/30/25 at 8 pm. During the coming attractions I could only hear sound out of the center speaker. I brought the issue up to the manager and was assured it would revert to normal sound during the main attraction. Once the movie began the sound got louder, but still no surround sound. I had to bring the issue up again. The manager was nice and gave me a refund as he was aware that the surround speakers were turned off due to them not working correctly (not sure why he didn't just say that to begin with). Cmx is my local theatre and having an experience like this can leave a bad taste in a consumer's mouth. I hope the theater can remove #7 from service until the sound system it is fixed. Customer's come to the theater for the full experience and taking their money for half of that experience is not right. The popcorn was good, the girls behind the counter were friendly, and the manager was nice in giving me a refund. Doubtful I will be back, but I hope they can do better as CMX WH is my local theatre and having them go out of business for poor experiences such as this would be a loss for our local community.

Old school theater about $10 for an evening ticket. They had some cool pictures on the wall. It was the only place that was still playing superman..lol. It was a great movie!!

It used to be a good movie theater. Not anymore as you can see in the pictures. What used to be good price on Tuesdays is now 10.00. First it was 5 then 7 and now 10. I understand all the prices are rising but 10 for stains on the rug, unclean bathrooms isn’t worth it. When I entered the auditorium, I could not sit in the front because the floor and seats were dirty. Also throughout the whole movie the light on the right-most wall was mega bright because its a different one from the others and it was not dimmed. Finally at the concessions stand, there is nothing on the top to show you options to choose from nor the prices! The sound quality was also very bad.

Update I spoke with the manager Joseph he was amazing and handled our issue with Care. He informed us that they are doing what they can however it’s the property owners responsibility to fix the problems that have been Reported, however, they have not had any resolution as of yet. The staff was super nice Concession stand was clean and the bathrooms were spotless, if it wasn’t for the conditions of the theatre that we were in, I would give this a five star just based off of that. I’ve been coming to this theatre for over 10 years and the quality has declined drastically, I got tickets for Demon Slayer movie in theatre 4 and there was a obnoxious squeaky fan above us and the whole theatre smells of muggy mold. Also the price advertised on the phone was $6 on Tuesdays a ticket and we were charged $8.00 + per ticket overall I would say do better as this was a huge disappointment. I have yet to speak to a manager however I will update this when I do.

Theater was clean and staff was friendly. However, there are no prices posted anywhere for popcorn/snacks. So we ended up paying 33.00 for 2 popcorns and 2 cokes. Partly my fault for not asking, but really the prices should be posted!!!!!!!

I showed up about 15 minutes late for my movie today to avoid the trailers. When I walked into the theater I was the only one there and the screen was completely black. I asked the employees about it and they were super nice and said they would fix it- even gave me free popcorn and a soda for my wait. 15 minutes later the movie started without ads. Best theater experience I’ve had in months.
