The Open Book Woodland Hills

This well appointed venue is far from just a bookstore! I could’ve spent a few hours, searching through so many special treasures beyond just books! Whoever is responsible for mindfully shopping these unique treasures, certainly has a way with filling all of the nooks and crannies of this special bookstore, with unique and obscure inventory. This review would be incomplete without recognizing MaKayla, as she made our visit complete!

Love going to the bookstore and the one in woodland hills is definitely the favorite spot for us. My 6 year old daughter loves spending time there. The staff is awesomely friendly, the vibe is great and they always have good music.

I had such a wonderful experience at Open Book in Woodland Hills thanks to James and Jen. Both were incredibly helpful and kind, making the visit feel personal and welcoming. I especially want to highlight Jen — she truly went above and beyond. My son had been searching for a specific book series for a while, and Jen took the time to track it down and made sure we got it. Her effort and care really meant a lot to us. It’s rare to find that kind of dedication these days. We’ll definitely be coming back — thank you, Open Book!

Absolutely love this book store. The staff is helpful and friendly. The books are well organized and if I struggle to find a specific book, the staff has always found it for me.

What a wonderful shop. It was full of books and other quirky things. Several comfortable arm chairs were placed at the back so you could sit and read for a bit.

Nice bookstore with very helpful associates. Location is smaller than the Northridge location but they have a good layout. Plenty options for young adult and children. Also have a punch card which goes towards $$ on future purchases.

Book stores! We need more bookstores! I'm so happy to see these back. BN can't be the only one out there. Used books save trees! And money! This store is large with a large selection of almost every subject except brand new, overpriced books. And they're opening stores everywhere, which is awesome! Definitely check it out. It'll bring back memories of the good old days when you could browse and buy books at reasonable prices!
