Bar Mash

We came for the Christmas Pop Up and it did not disappoint! They carded at the door, so be ready with your id (we had to dig). The happy hour menu (4-6pm) was great for food and basic drinks. I had the White Christmas and really enjoyed the blend of flavors and festive white light up ice cube! The rosemary wasn't overpowering! Hubby had Papa Christmas and he really enjoyed it too. There are lots of games available for patrons to play, which was a perk. If you're looking for festive without fighting crazy downtown parking or crowds, this is the place for you!

We love this bar. Sarah and Jimmy are absolutely the best bartenders in all of Charleston. We’ve lived here 10 years and we bring everyone here and we are here multiple nights a week. The vibe is just right. The food and drink specials are top notch. They have trivia and live music and bocci ball and shuffle board. Literally anything your hearts desires. We love it here and you will too!

Checked out this bar tucked away in the old cigar factory with my friend and we had a marvelous time. Cocktails were yummy, food was priced well and had great portions. Went on a Monday and there was a band jamming, not sure if music is there on other days. Will definitely be returning to try the food specials on diff days. Also, Victor the bartender was so sweet & took real good care of us!! Thank you, Victor

Wonderful time with the team at Bar Mash. Perfect prime rib, great cocktails, and the service was excellent!

Had a great time at Bar Mash this evening. Wanted a place that had some good food and great whiskey selection. Both bartenders were very friendly, open to give recommendations on pours and bottles. Will definitely be back.

We are in Charleston for first time. This is a great place. Very yummy duck confit tacos, and whatever IPA I was drinking was top notch. The bartender (I am terrible remembering names, but he would wade unto alligator infested ponds wearing swim trunks to help his uncle do surveying) served a shot of "cold brew" that was so caffeinated it changed my life - I may never sleep again.

Plenty of parking which is key for downtown. Good vibes and plenty of room inside and outside. I didn’t drink anything tonight so I can’t touch on that. The food was good. They have a meat heavy menu, and don’t have much for those with dietary restrictions (like Gf), which is something I think they could improve on if they wanted. I got the fish tacos and fries (both good). I’d go again, more so to drink and have a small side dish, which I think is the purpose of the bar and they do it well.
