Went to this bar and had a great time at the pool tournament… until the bar tender was blandly rude to us. What was suppose to be a fun night out with friends ended with us not being "served" anymore due to past customers transgressions and the bartender saying that he is "tired of young people" mind you we only came for the pool tournament and had a few beers between the friend group and we were not loud or belligerent. We will not be attending this bar anymore and if you are younger… maybe find a different place to spend your money because this establishment doesn’t want it.

My friend & I went into this bar with about $50 in cash just trying to blow through it before we opened a tab. We saw online they had pool tables and were intrigued. The locals that were there were very friendly and fun and invited us to play in their pool tournament which we did do. We only got to play one round when the bar tender "Johnson" (I believe was his name. He had a neck tattoo) refused to serve us for the rest of the night because we weren't tipping him. Before he stopped serving us he expressed to my friend that he was hesitant on us because we are young people and he had a bad experience with young people because they typically do not tip, which I do understand. However, we WERE going to tip him at the end of the night. The bartender also admitted to purposely not taking care of us in a timely manner because of our age and us not tipping him. This experience started off great but unfortunately ended in an unpleasant manner. I would not recommend a business who allows their employees to treat customers in that sort of way based off their age and their tips.

Visiting California, my Wife and her guy took me to this bar where the bartender/ owner was very kind. He even had a wine glass for me to put my beer in. His service was excellent. Walking in, parking is good in a nice area, the establishment is neat and clean with pool tables, a video game, really cool juke box, and another table game I can't remember the name of LOL. Theres chalk behind the bar so you can sign your name neately on the bathroom wall. We had much fun here and I highly recommend this location and I will be returning on my next visit to California.

We had a horrible experience while we were here. I came here with my family to try and have a good time. We didn't say anything to the bartender after we got our drinks but, my mother and I like to origami fold our tips when we leave cash, as we were actively folding, we had a $1 bill (that we had completed) folded on the counter as we were actively folding the other bills, Tyler the bartender got so mad at the $1 bill, he threw it down behind the counter and then proceeded to chase us out of the bar and said "As soon as I saw you, I knew you'd be an issue. Make sure to tell my boss my name is Tyler!" As we were trying to leave. We left our drinks half empty and will not be coming back. The orange juice in the screwdrivers tasted expired and this experience was awful.

My fav dive bar with the best bartender. Jessie makes the best drinks and always makes you feel welcome. Pool tables are great and make sure you ask for the markers to tag a brick or write in the bathroom.

I love Linda and all the regulars that come in there, I live in Downtown San Diego and I drive all the way to El Cajon just because of the service and atmosphere.
