Clancy's Tavern & Whiskey House

We stopped in for the a bite before a play at the Tennessee theater. We had the beer cheese pretzels for an appetizer and the we quite tasty. We ordered two hot dogs and fries and the food was delecious. We liked the service and the atmosphere and will be back soon to try other menus items

We stopped to grab a Guinness and some fish and chips before seeing Nickel Creek at the Tennessee Theatre. The restaurant is right beside the theatre, so it’s a great place to eat before seeing a show. The Bijou is also just down the street. The atmosphere was lively and there was a big crowd. It’s seat yourself, so if it’s crowded you may have to wait a bit for table. Our server was great even though he was very busy. We ordered a pretzel with cheese as an appetizer and it was warm and fresh. Our fish and chips were great too.

Clancy’s is a fantastic tavern! Excellent atmosphere, super helpful staff and delicious food! My go-to meal is the bangers ‘n mash but the fish ‘n chips are wonderful too. Highly recommended business!

Great Bar and Food! The wings are a must order. I ordered them well done and they were voted the best wings that we have ever had by 4 wing aficionados. Also order yourself a Black & Tan to wash it down.

A classic Irish pub. The pub fare is very good. We enjoyed the fried cheese curds with marinara sauce. The hot wings were crispy and delicious. The Reuben paired well with a Guinness on tap. This is a good spot to share a pint with friends.

We visited there yesterday prior to UT game. Bartender was HORRIBLE. Not friendly and I watched her talk negatively about the person I was with. Would not interact with me even after I tried. Our Server (unsure of his name) but he was great. Very personable. Very friendly. Wings were great!

Omg! The best little Irish pub! We were in town for a comedy performance at the Bijou. Clancy's was just up the street, on the corner next to The Tennessee State Theater. We had excellent service from Hunter and the other bartenders. The food and service were excellent! We'll definitely be back when we're in Knoxville again! They got really busy because Kansas was in town and performing next door, but they handled it beautifully from my perspective.
