A bar that makes you feel cool even when you don’t want to !! Something seductive here… a "be yourself" clause unspoken at the door that grants you a quilt of easy tranquility. The bartender ,doorman, Chas movie scenario feels like a movie you directed for yourself to be the main character watching the world go by as unique evening soap operas!

This is a legendary bar. If these walls could talk! It is probably the coolest hipster bar in the country. I went there back in the day. It was a place where you could chat it up with John Waters and the whole Maryland Institute of Art scene. Make the pilgrimage. It is a must.

Great atmosphere and drinks! The bartender was super nice and there were a lot of seating options. They have a bar on the first floor and the upper floor. The decor was super unique and a kinda 80s vibe in parts of it. It’s a good date spot or to hang with friends!

My favorite bar in Baltimore for over 15 years now. I always stop in here when in town. Love the red and the whole vibe of the place. They also do Halloween time right in Bmore.

Classic. Timeless. The best place to go after a movie at The Charles across the street and soak up the vibe.

Came early evening so it wasn’t busy, the bartender was having full blown conversations with other customers which made some of us wait to get her attention. The atmosphere is nice though

The drinks were delicious and I highly recommend the black forest cake cocktail. Was pretty crowded and only one of the two bars inside was operating on a Friday night. One person I was with had an out of state vertical ID (23 years old) that the doorman wouldn't take due to policy and refused to take any other form of identification. Bathroom was thankfully well lit, but the stall doors were short enough that my chin cleared the top if I stood up straight (average height) - I get that it's probably for security, but it sure makes for some awkward moments.
