Ship Creek Overlook Park

Nice little park on the river offering a loop to walk and a scenic area. There is a sign educating folks on the ship creek enhancement project and the history of ship creek. I can see why it is an attraction in the summer as the salmon run would be cool to watch. Not much to see early spring.

Free parking(about 6 spots). People park here for fishing other parking area was around $3 per hour. It's fun to watch people catching salmon. so many salmon around dam(banned fishing around dam)

It's a sweet little spot on the Ship Creek trail. You can't fish at the spot but it's fun to hangout and watch the birds catch fish. Lots of fish downstream by Ship Creek and you're allowed to fish there. You can see tons of fish here during the season June - August. There's also a small parking area.

We came here at he beginning of salmon season so it was not busy and there was not much to see other than the scenery. We enjoyed the little trail with bridges.

Just checking. Scouting for a fishing trip. I heard it was packed but not now. I think the tide was on it's way out. The dam will be a good place to watch when they start running.

If you get there at the right time, you can see so many fish! It was a quick stop. Parking fills up fast, but nice to see to say you did.

I was able to seeing salmons and touching them! Nice views along the trail and definitely worth a morning walk there.
