Dockside

We had a great wedding at the Dockside and would definitely recommend it for anyone looking for an outdoor venue! The Piedmont Park Conservancy was easy to work with and their team was super professional and made sure I didn’t have to worry about a single thing on the day of!

The Dockside at Piedmont Park is such a breathtaking spot for a wedding ceremony. I recently photographed a couple’s vows here, and the setting could not have been more beautiful. With the water as a backdrop, the lush greenery all around, and the skyline peeking through in the distance, it felt like a serene escape right in the heart of Atlanta. From a photographer’s perspective, the natural light on the dock is absolutely dreamy. The reflections on the water, the open sky, and the park’s natural beauty create an atmosphere that photographs effortlessly and feels timeless in every frame. Beautiful place right alongside the centerpiece Lake of Piedmont Park it's right next to one of the most prominent buildings in Piedmont Park and has nice stadium-style seating around the base next to the dock it's a great place for a date and it's usually shaded throughout the day

This is such a serene and gorgeous place in Piedmont park. 10/10 would recommend taking a stroll by the water.

Has nice dockside area, with ducks around! Lots of benches and also nice wooden swings overlooking the water.

I stopped by here while visiting Atlanta, and this area was very pretty. It has a nice view of the pond and I loved seeing the geese even in the late winter almost spring time. Definitely worth walking around the rest of the park as well.
