Awesome place to explore but be careful there is trash and broken glass everywhere especially down below. Historic Fort Armistead has been here for years. It was used to protect the Baltimore harbor from attacks. Only the fort is there today and also a truck underneath the fort that somebody had caught on fire and left there. You'll need a flashlight if your planning on exploring through the tunnels underneath. It was a fun place to explore.
OK place to fish and crab. I wouldn't recommend going alone.
This place would have so much potential. If they would fix it up,Clean it,Power wash it with BLEACH to get the pee smell out of there,It would be awesome,Paint over the graffiti and open it for picnics and tours! People want to tour here,It's a historical gem!The city would make money! But with all the trash,Dirt, Needles, Condoms, PROSTITUTION and hookups,And horrific pee smell,No one wants to go there,What a tragedy, This place is historic,And they need cops down there to stop the prostitution,If they can spend five BILLION DOLLARS on the key bridge,They can fix this fort, Which is right next to the bridge
Art work is amazing, the place is a very neat spectacle to see. Would advise to go with a friend and have protection. The parking lot has alot of parked cars with possible questionable activities. Would not advise being there at night.
It was awesome!! So beautiful besides the trash! Definitely take a flashlight if you want to go in the tunnel parts to explore all the different rooms it's pitch black without it even my phone light barley helped.
The drive to the spot looks a bit sketchy. I wasn't sure if I was even going to the right place. Decent parking space available and one of the best spots to see the great bridge "Francis Scott Key" that unfortunately collapsed.
This park is in a beautiful location but the upkeep is horrible. Trash everywhere, abandoned cars, potholes and overall neglect. The potential here can be great! Nice views of the Key bridge and Chesapeake Bay
