CityWalk in Birmingham is a lively, modern entertainment district that combines dining, shopping, and nightlife into one convenient downtown location. The area has a clean, urban feel with wide pedestrian-friendly streets, colorful lighting, and a variety of restaurants and bars that cater to diverse tastes. From casual eateries to upscale dining, CityWalk offers plenty of options, making it an ideal spot for both a relaxed lunch or a night out on the town.

Such a great use of space Birmingham! This area has all kinds of skating rinks and play areas and hanging spaces. This space was perfect for the pregame party for the women's ncaa basketball game and is good rain or shine. I love it! Night time soft lights make it look great too.

City Walk BHAM is located right next to the Birmingham Museum of Art, making it incredibly convenient to visit both in one trip. While there is some noise from the highway nearby, it didn't take away from the overall experience. I was impressed by how well-maintained the area is; I didn't see any homeless individuals, and it felt very safe, at least during the day. I’m looking forward to coming back in the evening to see a different side of it!

1st time visit. Went to the area by the skateboard and roller skating. Roller skating rink was empty, as the action was more on the skateboarding side. A clean fun.place for kids and adults alike. Parking is free and ample. It's close to the arena and FBI. Took us a few times to find it, but the local police was helpful in navigating us to thebarea. Road area closed off at a certain time to allow for the safety of the park users. The only downside was that there were NO restrooms. Was told the management had them closed - no one knows why. So keep that in mind when visiting. I also did notice a place to charge photo's etc.

♿️ Absolutely loved what they have done underneath the overpasses downtown. Started on 15th Street and continued to follow the red path. Each curb is painted a different color, so you know you're entering a new piece of the park. Easily got 3 miles in walking to the pond and then back, but made lots of stops along the way for pictures. It is difficult to find free parking here and wonder if your car will still be there or not when you get done. Lots of the app related parking spots. Easy access to BJCC(Legacy Arena), the Birmingham Art Museum, Uptown, and more. It needs some upkeep for sure and it's obvious with the weeds among the flower beds and the public restrooms could use a good cleaning. There were plenty of people with CityWalk hats on and name badges to help guide you if you got lost or were looking for something in particular. Glad I got to see and walk most of it and will return. If you haven't been, add it to your list. I found another Vulcan statue so I got to add it to the ones I've found. They aren't hidden, but they are if that makes sense. It's like the donkeys in Jasper. This is a flat concrete area. Easy to walk, wheelchair ♿ accessible and friendly, but there are stairs in many places. And while searching Uptown, I found they have a ramp at the end or beginning, depends on where you park.

I absolutely love the colors from the lights under the underpass at night. We went to the 2nd annual Mardi Gras parade. We, the locals, really need to jazz it up before next year! Nice place to hold outside events but parking is a problem.
