Customer Reviews
Barber Park has a rating of 4.7 out of 5 based on over 1089 reviews on Google
Three gestapos to monitor what seemed to be nothing. Just standing around mostly. No longer pumps to fill inflatables, unless you rent. All about $, not service to the community like in the past. Excuses: COVID, too many people. More pumps? Duh. Used to be able to drop a family of six from Spain off at passenger drop-off. Not now, everyone now has too either pay to rent or hand pump each inflatable. Major congestion despite the two unfortunate ladies who had to try to keep things moving. It has become commercial joke instead of a nice, quick launch. Please fix it.
If you’ve never floating the river, I highly recommend you try it! We had such a good time. A couple things to keep in mind: they’ve removed the air pumps, so bring your own or fill up your floating devices before arriving. They told us that there were some portable ones around, but we looked over the entire parking couldn’t find any. Unfortunately, they said they remove the ones they had during Covid. I hope they choose to put them back. Other than that, just keep in mind parking is seven dollars and your state park sticker doesn’t give you access. Bathrooms are really clean and the staff is really nice.
Nestled away from the bustling crowds, this serene haven offers the perfect escape for those seeking tranquility and peace. The ambiance is infused with calming natural elements—gentle breezes, soft rustling of leaves, and the soothing sounds of distant water features that create an almost meditative environment. The harmonious blend of nature and thoughtful design fosters a deep sense of relaxation, making it easy to disconnect from daily stresses and reconnect with your inner calm. Ideal for quiet reflection, meditation, or simply a peaceful retreat, this place is a sanctuary for the mind and spirit. Whether you're there for a brief respite or an extended period of relaxation, you'll leave feeling refreshed, centered, and at peace.
Many improvements to this park over the years. Easy access to the river to fish. Spent a very enjoyable morning there.
Great place to float the Boise River from. Floating you're a great way to experience Boise. Included with your rental is a shuttle back from Ann Morrison Park to Barber Park.
Very nice park! Wife and I visiting our daughter and son in law. We have NOTHING like this in Arkansas. We have trails and mountains in the north western part of the state but nothing like this! And it’s just a 5 min drive from their home in Harris Ranch 😃 beautiful park, beautiful city, beautiful state!!!!
Situated along side the Boise River this park is part of the Greenbelt and has wonderful river access with water views and lots of nature.
