The staff and crew were all friendly and pleasant to interact with. The ride was smooth, fast and beautiful at sunset. I’d definitely always take the Ptown ferry over driving any day. The vessel was clean and had great seating options too.

Great option if you’re heading to Provincetown! The ferry is reliable and a really nice way to travel across the bay with great views of the Boston skyline on the way out. Just a heads up—you’ll want to get there early since people start lining up well before boarding, which usually begins about 30 minutes before departure. The ride itself is smooth and comfortable, with plenty of seating and fresh air if you sit outside. Super convenient compared to driving, and a fun way to start your trip to P-town! Keep your tickets safely for return otherwise, you may have to buy a separate ticket.

Provincetown Fast Ferry offers a comfortable and pleasant way to travel from Boston to Provincetown and avoid the tedious route over land 🙂 I have taken this ferry many times over the years and particularly enjoy the stunning water views of Provincetown you get as you enter the port. Today, my experience was made even better when I received a stellar customer service response to an issue that I had. In summary, I may have made an error on the website when purchasing my ticket, which was compounded by a potential oversight by the ticket staff when I picked up my ticket, combining to result in my paying twice what I should have for a single round trip adult fare. When I reported what happened on my return to the Boston ticket office, I was worried that I would not be able to prove what happened. I was pleasantly surprised when the issue was escalated to management, who may have been the owner, and who resolved the issue respectfully and efficiently. I will feel good about continuing to patronize the Bay State Cruise Company and the Provincetown Fast Ferry for years to come.

Fast ferry to Provincetown. Left Boston seaport at 1pm, spent the day in Ptown, then took the ferry back to Boston at 7pm. Great way to travel & explore Ptown for the day. Highly recommend.

Took the ferry from Boston to Provincetown and it was wonderful. The interior is very comfortable with a nice bar that serves food, snacks and drinks. There are 4 different decks outside with seats and tables. It docks right in the heart of P-town. A one block walk and your in the middle of the shops and restaurants on Commercial Street. We loved the ferry and P-town and can’t wait to do it again.

My go-to ferry to Provincetown! Bay State Cruise Company is hands down the best way to get from Boston to Provincetown and back. The fast ferry is comfortable, reliable, and always staffed with a friendly, helpful crew. It’s such a relaxing and fun way to kick off a holiday. There’s even a snack and drink bar on board to keep things festive. Pro tip: book round-trip tickets—they’re cheaper than buying two one-way fares! Always a smooth ride and a great experience. Highly recommend!

They deliver on their services. Website up to date, prices competitive, departs online, friendly service, boat has toilets and concessions. Would be 5 stars if they just had eTickets (have to show email to desk to print a ticket, which you have to hold for your return - Com’on guys! 2021?!). But overall very good.
