The greatest way to get off a cruise ship and kill time in Boston waiting for your flight as opposed to stuck at the airport since they don’t let you check in more than four hours in advance. In retrospect, we should have Ubered over to Rowes Wharf and started from there. We hit the dock just after the top of the hour and missed the boat, so to speak. Our fault, not theirs. They were flexible and allowed us to change our time to get to the airport. Again, our fault not theirs. And it was a lovely way to see the skyline of Boston from the water. Andy was great as a Captain.

The Boston Water Taxi is an absolutely fantastic service and easily deserves a five-star rating! It is the most scenic, enjoyable, and often the most efficient way to navigate the inner harbor. Forget the traffic and take to the water! We used the service for a transfer from the airport and it was a stress-free experience from start to finish. The boats are well-maintained, and the Captains are excellent—friendly, knowledgeable, and true professionals. They are quick to respond to calls, and the on-demand service feels truly convenient, connecting major stops like Logan Airport, the North End, and the Seaport. There’s nothing better than cruising across the harbor, getting fantastic views of the Boston skyline and waterfront, and arriving at your destination in minutes. It turns a simple commute into a genuinely fun part of your trip. Highly recommend the Boston Water Taxi to locals and visitors alike!

Took a trip from the aquarium to the seaport. More expensive, but much a much nicer experience compared to an Uber. The trip was quick, but we did have to wait till the end of the pickup window. Still a nice private ride across the harbor was enjoyable.

Taking the water taxi was the best decision I made for the day! I opted for the harbor tour, which was $35, in the morning. The captain, Tom, was very knowledgeable and made sure I saw everything I wanted to see. He dropped me off at the dock closest to James Hook, where I was having lunch, and made sure I knew how to contact them to go back in the evening. I scheduled my return ride ($20) online with no issues. I would absolutely take the water taxi in the future!

Practically perfect in every way! I chose to book tickets (from the cruise ship terminal to Boston Water Taxi’s Rowe’s Wharf location to Logan International Airport) because we could store our luggage before our evening flights home and explore the area. The ticket price was very reasonable, and the Rowe’s Wharf luggage storage is in a great location! The New England Aquarium, a Starbucks and highly-rated restaurants are all within walking distance. They provided written directions and a map of the route from the cruise ship terminal to the water taxi pick-up location that were clear and easy to follow. It’s an easy walk (under 2 blocks), unless you’re lugging a ton of luggage. Passengers must be able to board a moored boat that is on choppy waters. Not recommended for people with poor mobility. Great communication, friendly and kind staff, highly efficient service! Fun way to get around Boston harbor!

This was the perfect find! We had the day to spend in Boston after our cruise, but nowhere to store our luggage as well as no pre scheduled ride from the port to the city and then to the airport. This did it all...for an unbeatable cost and so easy too!

Amazing service! Having our luggage stored for us while we explored Downtown Boston was a huge convenience. The driver of the boat was extremely helpful and kind, loading our luggage into the boat and offering recommendations of things to do and places to eat while in the city. The boat ride itself was beautiful and had great views of the city. Highly recommend!
