McCarren Park

McCarren Park is easily one of the best parks in NYC. It has a great running track, a solid calisthenics area, tennis courts, a baseball field, a small soccer field, and plenty of open space. Despite all the activity, the park stays relatively quiet and is just a great place to spend time.

Great local park for families and fitness! We had a little picnic and went to the playground with my son — he loved it. The park is spacious and clean, perfect for relaxing. There’s also a nice running track and solid calisthenics equipment if you want to work out. A great spot to spend time outdoors in Brooklyn.

Nice park, has a bit of everything and a bunch of sport areas. Surroundings are fully comercial so there´s activities for everyone. You have a couple of dispensaries really close by, I suggest Green Apple.

I had a lovely stroll through McCarren Park With my boyfriend, we both admired the blooming cherry blossoms and pleasant atmosphere. That day was a bit chilly and windy. I'm glad we were able to capture some pictures of the blossoms, even though it's not peak season yet. This park has a running/walking track, playgrounds, and sports fields. I can imagine this will be a nice park to picnic in when the weather gets warmer.

A fantastic park. During warmer months, it's amazing. Tons of people walking, playing sports, playing with pets, baby strollers, picnics, etc. Visit and sit on a bench. Just watch all the motion, movement. It heals you. And there is a guy called the Dkm. He plays from a sampler his own songs and in between plays Pink Floyd, The Cult, Peter Gabriel. Even some audio from movie scenes. Truly a New York experience. This is why you live in Brooklyn!

There is nothing like summer nights in New York City. At McCarren Park you will see crowds of locals enjoying its open space to avoid being indoors. I took some portraits of my friends at our one our favorite places in Brooklyn, NY. ★★★★★

Enjoyed a Sunday afternoon at this awesome park with my family and our dog. I love the activities including the tabling by locals selling cool stuff. I highly recommend visiting this park, beautiful neighborhood, great people, sports, vibe, has restrooms, is dog friendly 💝 Parking was not that difficult.
