Charleston Charters (Private Dolphin Cruise BYOB)

Captain Jody took our trip on short notice and we had the best time. Our daughter was dying to find shark teeth and he helped make her dreams come true! We saw many dolphin and had a wonderful time.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ To celebrate my fiancé’s 25th birthday, we spent the day inshore fishing with Captain Jody Ducworth and couldn’t have asked for a better experience! From start to finish, everything exceeded our expectations. We explored the beautiful rivers, creeks, inlets, and beaches around Charleston and Folly Beach, catching so many Red Drum (Spot Tail Bass) I lost count and we were even treated to frequent dolphin sightings along the way. Captain Jody was the ideal guide : communicative, adaptable, thoroughly prepared, and incredibly knowledgeable. His easygoing personality and sense of humor made the trip not just fun, but truly unforgettable. He shared all kinds of fascinating facts as we fished, relaxed, and even explored historic landmarks, filming locations, and nearby islands. An unpredictable weather forecast added to the adventure and created a perfect variety of conditions with never a dull moment. We scheduled last-minute, and I’m beyond grateful we did! Ducworth Charters gave us a lifelong memory. We’re already looking forward to touring again with Captain Jody in the future. — Karly McCormack

We had a wonderful time on our boat tour and visit to Morris Island! Jody was very knowledgeable of the area and has a great personality. We saw all different types of the local wildlife, including dolphins! And we had plenty of time on the island to collect a few seashells! We would definitely recommend this company, Ducworth Charters!

My boyfriend and I booked a private sunset charter for my birthday, 100% worth it and easily one of our favorite parts of the trip! Jodie was awesome knowledgeable about the area. He even let my boyfriend try his hand at fishing for the first time. We had such a great time and if we ever come back to Charleston we would definitely book with him again!

We couldn’t have planned a better sunset cruise if we had tried. Captain D is AMAZING very knowledgeable of the area and knew exactly where to see the dolphins. Who didn’t disappoint us along with the other wildlife we saw. So dog friendly even your dog will love Captain D. Picture of our dog Madison and Captain D included was to precious not to share. You won’t be disappointed on this cruise!!!

If you are looking for a romantic sunset cruise, look no further. Captain D was an amazing tour guide, knowledgeable, and over the top patient as he answered any and all questions we had. He talked about the local wildlife and the pictures he took and shared with us were absolutely breathe taking and amazing. The sunset was beautifully stunning, the water was so still that image reflected as if on a mirror. Oh and the amount of dolphins we saw was truly amazing. I could not think of a better away to celebrate our anniversary. THANK YOU Cap'n D!!!

Words cannot describe what a wonderful time we had on this trip! We saw several dolphins, visited Morris Island, and learned a lot about the local area and ocean life. Our fur babies were also able to enjoy the trip with us! We have recommended him to our family and friends and already can't wait for our next adventure with Capt. Jody! It was the highlight of our trip to Charleston!
