Safe Harbor South Bay

I've stayed at quite a few marinas including several Safe Harbor marinas and I have to say that this is probably the worst experience I've had at a marina anywhere. We ended up just making a reservation with Safe Harbor Sunroad instead so I would suggest just starting there is you're planning a visit to San Diego.

Our first time visiting and boating with Freedom Boat Club in this harbor. It wasn’t too busy on a Sunday afternoon. It is a small marina yet there are plenty of free parking. Lucked out with beautiful sunset.

Such a beautiful and scenic walk! It was very clean and quiet. A lovely marina overall. We happened to see a bunch of stray cats as well.

Been here for years as livaboard. I have been a boater for 40 years. Best staff and dockmasters I have experienced. Getting California pricey..

Tori was amazing. We stayed for a week on the boat and she made it so easy for us. Everyone was extremely pleasant. Would definitely recommend

CYM has the best Dock Master ever! The Marina is quiet and has great parks at both ends. Live music every Wed, Friday, Saturday & Sunday evenings at The Galley is within walking distance. Kayaking the bay in early morning...then again weekends at sunset is awesome! Min

It's kind of a small space....but everything was ok....people were nice,view was great,quiet private...great for a couple to go on a 1st date.. romantic
