Schooner Clearwater

Had an Absolutely Amazing sunset cruise with Schooner Clearwater our vacation in Clearwater Beach! Captain Tim and 1st Mate Christian were extremely professional, knowledgeable, and hospitable throughout our cruise. The cruise is a bit more pricey, when compared to others in the area, but it is worth every penny because they focus on the quality of the cruise, not quantity. The sunset was BREATHTAKING, and we even got to see quite a few dolphins! Plus I really appreciated that the schooner was a more intimate experience, geared more towards adults! We’ve been on several sunset cruises in Key West, as well as the Caribbean, and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Schooner Clearwater!

What an amazing experience! Highly recommend this excursion. Beats all the other boat ride options that go out into the gulf. First mate, Christian, was awesome to watch work the sails. Captain Steve is a true sailor - made our day so enjoyable in sharing all his knowledge. Book this trip!! ❤️ ⛵️

We had the best time on our sunset sailboat cruise. Captain Steve and Christian made us comfortable and had the most easy going personalities to sail with. 10/10 experience and can't wait to come back again when we visit!

We had a great sunset sail with Captain Tim! There were just two small groups on the boat, so there was plenty of room for our family to roam around and relax. The water was calm that night, so we had a great tour of the Gulf. The sunset was pretty good too. Very worthwhile event for a family vacation. Highly recommended!

Fabulous experience. Breathtaking views. Exceptional service from start to end. We did a tour in December and it was a beautiful day, but it did get chilly. They provided blankets.

Our sunset sail with Schooner Clearwater was simply fantastic. The crew were friendly, knowledgeable and easy to chat with, helping those of us new to sailing get comfortable and understand what was happening. The boat is gorgeous and so comfortable, and it felt like flying across the water with just the breeze and sails. We saw multiple dolphins, learned a little about the area, and had a gorgeous sunset view. I’d do this again in a heartbeat.

We booked the 2 hour sunset cruise for Valentine’s Day and it couldn’t have been a better experience. Capt. Tim is the perfect mixture of experienced and humble. He was happy to engage in conversation but would also sit back and let you enjoy the ride. Conditions were perfect for a trip out. The boat is clean and comfortable and the sunset was beautiful. He was great about communicating before arrival and throughout the trip. He knew we had a dinner reservation right after we returned and was very accommodating in letting us off first so we could get there quickly. My only regret is that we didn’t book a longer trip. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a sailboat experience, you’ll be glad you did.
