Canal Park

Not much of a park as a nature trail. There is a beautiful trail between Budd and Canal Park. If you're going later in the day or in the fall months. First bit of advice is just remember the (bugspray). Second bit bring water. Third bit don't get lost. Bring a compass keep track of where your going. It's not the largest area of trees but still can get turned around.

Beautiful local trail - makes you feel like you're not in busy Clinton Township for a little bit. It's not a long walk (maybe a little over a mile) but it's a great scenic view along the river.

Beautiful park with plenty of trails. Great for walking your dogs also. Make sure to bring bug spray tho!

Enjoy the trails. My pup and I enjoy hiking them. The trail that goes right takes you to Budd park and is just over a mile long. It is a scenic route along the river.

I’ve had some really hit experiences, and some really miss experiences here. Firstly, it’s an alright trail. I think it’s easy to get lost in there as a first timer but once you get the hang of it, it’s fairly simple. It’s beautiful, it’s scenic, it’s trees and the Clinton River. I think the major cons are the bugs, definitely bring bug spray and one of those mosquito net hats, and also bring maybe some self defense like pepper spray. People can be shifty in those woods, and this is probably the only wooded trail in the area which I’ve had more than one instance in which someone has made me feel uncomfortable during passing.

This Park is a beautiful spot for a little bit of history with my father and his amazing talks and A wonderful place to spend the New Year’s burning calories and getting ready for the amazing weather we’ve got before us

Never very busy, much longer than I originally thought! Very scenic route along the Clinton river. Certain parts are far enough from the road to hear the birds. I've seen multiple deer, tons of squirrels, and plenty of birds.
