Holiday Inn Express Dallas Downtown

Yes, rooms are smaller than your average hotel. The people at the desk are absolutely fantastic. I stayed here on multiple occasions both using a group block rate and not. The area in general is pricey BUT this place is so competitive. Felt safe, looked clean, very helpful staff (man and woman both times). One morning I woke up and the parade start was outside my window and I appreciated the surprise!

Budget renovation. There’s chips and gaps everywhere. The lobby and elevators have a suffocating cologne smell. It was 400+ dollars for a 2 bed suite for 2 nights. The room is very small. There’s no storage. The tv only has cable and THEY DONT HAVE A TV GUIDE. The gym is literally 3 treadmills and a rack of dumbbells.I clean for a living so I might be a little picky but I think makeup on the walls and crumbs on the floor is unacceptable, especially with such a small room and the price. P.s. they don’t have parking so you gotta walk a block

This hotel was located in a good location, however it was not worth the price. The staff member at check in was not friendly at all. The rooms were very compact. The bathroom door did not close all the way and the worst part was we had to walk 2 blocks away to park the vehicles in a parking lot that one couldn’t go in and out of. Also after trying to submit the review it looks like it will only submit if I give a good rating on the room. I chose poor and it won’t submit. Now I’m changing it just to be able to submit the review.

The hotel is a little pricey for the area, but it was a very nice hotel. It was clean and they need to fix their breakfast. It is just not what a normal breakfast should be. The eggs were dry. The meat was dry and for the past two or three days it was the same. The variety of food was minimal. Other than that we will stay there again.

Nice hotel! The room was very clean and cozy. It was a little on the smaller side, but overall I felt really safe. The only downfall was the location of pay yourself parking which was 1.5 blocks away.

Terrible! Unless you want to leave your car on the street overnight in downtown Dallas, DO NOT STAY HERE! They claim the "No parking on site" notice is on the booking website, but it is NOT on the actual landing/booking page…it is on a secondary page labeled "other". If you arrive and realize they expect you to leave your vehicle at the mercy of the night time street people in downtown, good luck trying to change to a different IHG property. THIS property will charge you regardless. If you do stay…good luck with finding a clean room. One would think cleaning to be easy given the crazy small size of the rooms. All in all just about the WORST hotel we have encountered in a very long time!

We stayed at the Holiday Inn downtown Dallas which cost £435 for 3 nights which included breakfast which is buffet style with the basic of what you would normally find at a USA Holiday Inn including fresh fruit.. jucies.. eggs.. sausages.. toast.. oatmeal.. pastries.. tea coffee and water etc.. ||The hotel has a few great facilities including a self laundry room with 2 washing machines and 2 dryers which cost $3 per load for washing and the same for drying ($1 coins only) a well equipped gym and a small shop by reception where you can buy a few essentials things including drinks and snacks.||We stayed in a corner room which overlooked the JFK book Depository out of one window and the glass building that featured in the opening credits of Dallas. The room was extremely clean as was everything in the hotel.. bed was comfortable with cotton sheets.. towels and daily maid service.. large TV and well stocked bathroom with a great shower.||The hotel is ideal location if your visiting downtown Dallas and the JFK site and also Southfork Ranch Dallas with the JFK book Depository just 2 minutes walk and Southfork Ranch Dallas is 35 minutes by an UBER at a cost of $30 each way! ||There is a 7/11 which is 10 minutes walk and a McDonald's which is a 3 minute walk as you excit the hotel to your right on the same street on the opposite side. There are also plenty of food and cafe bars outlets near by all within walking distance and the main downtown shopping district is only an 8 minute walk.||Highly recommended and we would definitely stay here again.
