Island MetroPark

Brand new Playground and Splash pad! My son and I enjoyed this park especially the new Water feature that was open until last Sunday. Thank you for Staying open an extra month so we could beat the heat on the weekend ☀️❤️

Not much for little kids to do. Only 3 swings and the jungle gym is a rope climbing one. So ny kids couldn't even play. No.slide. they need to update their pics bc we were definitely disapointed. Came for an appt at dayton childrens... were out of towners. It was clean and well maintained though and the splash pad looked nice as well as the stage and many picnic tables.

Attended the African American Culture Fest there. It was a beautiful spot for the event.

One of my favorite Dayton parks. Managed by Metroparks, so it is always clean, fun with great facilities.

My family and I loved it here. I appreciate the fact the playground and water area is fenced in. We all had a ball. We bq. Which was nice. We was at the spot that was the closest to the river. It was nice and clean. This place is a must go to. The staff member that was there was nice and informative. By the way.... We grilled salmon, chicken, steak, Turkey hot dogs, corn on the cob, fresh green beans, sweet potatoes. We also had dinnrr rolls, chips, mixed fruit and plenty of water.

Clean park weird well maintained splash pad and playground. Hike along the river to other parks was mostly tree lined and did not give many good views but path was well maintained and paved

My Husband and I, used to take our 2 sons here a lot... Lik, he calles it the Blue park... Lol, too funny.. But both sons are Adults bow 30 & 26.. Funny how time flies! May hd rest in peace, I miss you dear heart❤❤
