Glass Bar Nude Beach

This is a great place to go to get out in nature, and get your tan on! Great for having a picnic, and swimming. Also seems to be great for those that like to hunt for those Agates! The people that go out here, do a great job of keeping it free of garbage. Everyone is very friendly, and respectful. There are several little private areas you can claim right off the main trail along the river. I go out here as often as I can! It's never a dull time when you're at Glass Bar!

Only nude area near Eugene. 15 minute walk is a bit tricky first time but river view is lovely and relaxing. Water is wonderful. 90% men most times and quite friendly. Busier on warm weekend afternoons. Tip - from the railroad tracks, find fiber pole #64228. This path leads to the bridge across the water. Then walk east to the picnic tables and wade onto the island. Stay east along the water.

Great palace to see birds, old men naked, or a creepy guy with a ski mask coming out of the bushes. No thank, I'll pass on this place.

To reply to all below reviews claiming in is closed. FALSE. Still open. Park across from weed again and walk over the traintracks to the path to cross the rickety makeshift wood bridge and access the gravel road to cross the river again to the central island and take it all off! Anyway...!Good place for late afternoon and morning cruising. Lots of mini spots to relax privately and sun tan. Only complaint I have is it seems the same 5 or 6 guys go out there all the time. I wish more people knew about the concealed path to get there. It can be hard to access the island as the river must be crossed on foot and can be deep and swift from November to late April. It's low and easy to walk through in the summer months. Definitely enjoyed some fun times in this gorgeous natural setting outdoors.

Trash throughout, have to cross private property and walk on train tracks to access, primarily gay men being lewd in public and homeless encampments. When I came back to my car, I had $150 parking ticket.

Glassbar is lovely, and a fantastic place to celebrate free body culture. That said, it's hard to get to, and the county is clearly making it difficult on purpose, which is both bigoted and unethical. Public nudity should be made accessible to those who desire it.

Nice area to get away when you can’t quite really get away.... I love that you have to hike in so its never over populated.
