Whitely Landing Willamette River Greenway

This is a good place for a nice river bank experience. There are not many amenities (small parking area, restrooms, boat ramp, picnic table, two horseshoe pits!) so plan on bringing things like drinking water. The County charges a fee for parking here, however I don't think many users pay as there is no on-site mechanism to purchase a permit. In the past the restrooms have been closed but presently I think they are open. I sense the elderdog (see pics) would not hesitate to give Whitley Landing a 5-star rating.

Very pretty water isn’t too cold, but wear the right shoes or even water shoes because there are a bunch of wasps underneath the rocks.

Beautiful little landing, the water is high from all our rain. Short walk from house, very peaceful.

Looks like a nice place to launch a boat or fish. River here not great for swimming. Some narrow trails along the river (no views) with a lot of blackberry. Abundant mosquitoes.

I've had a lot of fun here on my way there now in fact. The water isn't too deep the temp.is perfect for cooling off. Nice people and I like to hunt pretty rocks . Take me a pic nice box and catch me a sun tan . Good fun relaxing.and good place to take your dogs as well.

My go to spot for some peace and meditation. So calm and beautiful. I take my kids swimming here every summer they love it and so do I. Good river to float as well. We have created most our summer memories here. Bathrooms, horseshoes, swimming and pets welcome. Bring some shade if on the beach. Great place for rock hunting too.
