Peaceful area. You can walk the paved path (handicap friendly), swing on wonderful large swings or just sit and enjoy fresh air with view of the Ohio River and Evansville downtown; and if the timing is right you'll get to see a barge go by. If you have skateboarders in the family the skate park is within view.
The nicest sewer treatment discharge I’ve ever seen. Definitely gives off a bit of a smell but not so bad you can’t stand there and watch the cascade.
It was nice and fairly quiet. The swings were nice, although a few had homeless people on them.
peaceful most of the time. the bench swings are fairly comfortable and generally well-maintained.
I have noticed a improved quality of the water down stream at the main water front dew to the fresh water being put back into the river.
