Great place to kayak and paddle-board. Nice and low key area.

Today was my first time visiting the Arapahoe Bend Natural Area and I loved it! The leaves are what attracted me to this spot in the first place and I couldn't believe how yellow the trees were here! There are a ton of little ponds you can walk around to, the trails are all super flat and easy so this is just a relaxing place to visit and hang out by a calm pond! I want to come back in the winter to see this place after a fresh snow! If you can catch the last of the leaves here before they fall to the ground, I highly recommend giving this place a visit!

Lots of open space to explore or investigate and plenty of nooks that are suitable for solitude in reading, writing, tanning, etcetera. The pup certainly was a fan of the vast natural area as well as the access to water. A great spot any time of year to visit in your free time with lots of paths to check out!

Quiet in the fall. A week or 2 prior to when we went would have had the rabbit bush in spectacular bloom from all the rain in early October. Not much bird life this in-between fall and winter time. Trails unique with board walks through the marshes. Lots of trees around lakes and ponds. Fair amount of other people on the trails. Most were friendly.

What a beautiful place to take a walk or go for a bike ride with your family! My daughter and I love to spend time here on the weekends. There are a few trails and some little ponds with benches to sit down and relax. From the ponds, you can get a nice view of Long's Peak. My favorite time to go - right now! It's fall, and the trees are just beautiful!

Great place for easy hiking. There are two loops around two ponds, so easy to pick your length of hike or biking. South loop had some shade, north loop none, so plan accordingly. Parts are close to I-25, so you will get some traffic noise at times, but the payoff is a spectacular panorama of the mountains.

We enjoy taking our dogs to Arapaho regularly to run and play along the river and ponds. It’s usually quite busy with people, especially on sunny days. But there’s enough space so it doesn’t feel crowded. Definitely one of the best views of the front range in FC.
