Overall the property redesign is gorgeous! The main restaurant layout let's the guests experience a truly fine dining with an attentive staff. The 🎂 celebration i attended everyone loved their selections and drinks.

I love the new look, a 60s hotel now joining 21 century. Elegant and sophisticated yet warm and cozy. A must visit when in Fort Lauderdale. Beautiful pool, spa, and a rotating restaurant on the top of the tower. Come say hi, they open in April.

An unbelievable and truly amazing resurrection of an icon from my youth. Pier 66 was my family's Ft. Lauderdale preferred destination for years during the 1970's. The atmosphere, luxurious appointments, setting, food at Calusso, service and unmatched experience at Pier Top has no equal from Palm Beach to Miami Beach. Make this a part of truly indulging your escape from anything ordinary during your time in Ft. Lauderdsle.

With the recent major renovations, Pier 66 is a beautiful oasis located off the 17th Street causeway. Access is largely via auto, as it didn't seem easily accessible by walking. Taking a ride share (Uber, Lyft) is a good option as the Valet gets backed up at peak times. If you drive there via pickup truck, be aware you will be slapped with a $40 charge. The valet advised that they charge less for cars, but his boss "doesn't want trucks in our garage, so they had to park my truck under the bridge." It would have been considerate if they had mentioned this when I drove in and offered an alternative. No such luck. The food at SoloGrande was ok, the kitchen had a challenge getting the ingredients listed on the menu into the actual dishes (a fig salad with no figs, etc ). Our server was absolutely fantastic!, She assisted in correcting the kitchen slip ups swiftly with a huge dose of humor, as she made the evening wonderful for us. All of the staff we encountered in the restaurant were professional, polite and efficient. Prices were very fair for the quality, making the parking more expensive than our entres!

Great venue!! Amazing and kind staff. I did enjoy how grand the facility was while walking around.. super spacious!!
